Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Sunken Treasure (IG Live Polish)

*I bought this

Hi!! How are you doing tonight? I'm sitting here drooling over this gorgeous polish. I was so very excited to take part in this process. Kayla from CCNP made a polish live on IG with input from all of the viewers! It was so much fun ❤ Let's have a looksie 👀

Sunken Treasure is a light teal holo polish with multi chrome micro flakes, 3 different color shifting micro glitters, purple shimmer, and blue micro ghost flakes. The name completely captures this polish! I just was saying in my last post how I prefer small bits in my polish. This is THE PERFECT POLISH, for me anyways. Formula is amazing. It polishes itself flawlessly. I am always drawn to these types of teal colors. Sooooo Effing Pretty 😍 I used 2 perfect coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Melons and Cucumbers

*This post contains a press sample

Hello! Late post tonight because it is a day off in our house and I had some cleaning to do. I did, however, manage to swatch this polish earlier. I received Melons and Cucumbers in a swap with my friend Heather. Same swap that gave me THIS beauty!! This polish also has a scented twin but mine is not that one. It does not diminish my love for this gorgeous creme polish at all. This had been a long time lemming and now it is finally mine.

Melons and Cucumbers is a very pale, yet bright, soft minty green. The formula was a little less smooth than Kayla's usual. I think it had to do with the fact that it was used. Also because these lighter colors are always so bitchy. I used 3 coats for this swatch with top coat.

I remembered this glitter I was sent last year from Joy Lacquer. It was from her Kinder Queen Collection. Any guesses???? It's Crocodile Tears and it is such a perfect match with Melons and Cucumbers as a base. I used one coat of Crocodile Tears over M&C and again, sealed it with top coat.

I will post shop links below, but I am not sure that either of these are available. Please don't let that stop you from checking both of these ladies out though. They both offer super quality products!! Hope you have a wonderful night and I will see you tomorrow!! Thanks for stopping by!

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Nothing Good

                                                                                 *I bought this

Happy Friday peeps! How was black Friday shopping for you? I hope you got amazing deals. Like I said in my last post, I only got to buy 1 thing. Well, 2 really. Then it ended up being 4! I bought a polish and a charm and I got 2 polishes and 2 charms. My Dallas Cowboy star came with a little football so I am super happy about that. 11-1!!!!! Then I got BF16 free with my purchase of Nothing Good. If you keep reading, I may have something for 1 lucky person...

So, Nothing Good is the polish I chose because I need all the Cowboy blue colored polishes!! It matches the charm perfectly too! Nothing Good is part of the After Midnight trio. It is a deep blue jelly with dark purple ultra micro glitter and holo. For me it was very hard to capture the purple glitters. The dark jelly over powers them a little and just makes them look blue. Either way a gorgeous mix. I used 2 coats and was completely satisfied with coverage. In the pics there is a slight visible nail line. I couldnt tell in real life. You could make it fully opaque with 3 coats but I dont really think its necessary. To the pics!

I added that last picture because there was a comment in the CCNP facebook group that someone had some polish staining. The polish was Melissa not NG!. Now, I am in NO WAY trying to call this person out or call her a liar. Everyone has a different body chemistry and some things work differently on some people than others. This is just MY experience. I had this polish on for about an hour with taking pics and doing art. I use 1 coat of Yellow Stopper as a peel off base coat for swatching. After peeling pieces of the polish off, there was not any staining at all. I only wanted to bring this up because Kayla is the most diligent indie polish maker I have dealt with. Her testing is always super extensive. Feel free to ask her any details. She is always super sweet and attentive. Now, about that thing. I have a brand new bottle of BF16 that I would love to give to a deserving person who missed out on this limited edition polish. Please leave me a comment below and let me know if you were not able to get BF16 and why you think you deserve it. Please dont comment if you do have it. I want to send this to someone who will never have the chance at this polish. You have 1 week. I will pick a winner next Friday/Saturday. As always links are below! Have a great weekend!

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ BF16

                                                                                   *I won this.

FRIDAY!!! You have exactly 1 week until Black Friday! I have plans to buy 2 things. First thing is a new laptop! Seriously, this tiny Acer sucks! The second is a new polish from CCNP. I have a good idea on which one but you know how it is... Kayla has some serious awesomeness for Black Friday. Get 50% off of any purchase when you buy 2 or more items using the code: CCNPBF16!! Charms and polish are included in this sale. Also get a full sized bottle of todays featured polish for free!!! Please check HERE for the list of polishes available on Black Friday. Are you ready to see your freebie?!?!

I was super excited to win the chance to swatch a polish that can never be bought. I mean, how neat right?! As far as indie polish that I have bought myself, CCNP is my most owned. Its really only like 10 lol but 1 income yada yada. Either way CCNP is my indie weakness. Not to mention the amazing sales Kayla always has. Ok ok, I have talked enough! Get ready for some serious pic spam :)

BF16 starts with a purple shimmer base. Add some micro holo glitters and micro charcoal flakies and BAM! Perfection in a bottle. While searching for a base color for this polish I fell in love with so many colors so you will see them all. They are all solid creme polishes because I dont want any shimmer or holo from my base to interfere with the topper. Every swatch is 1 coat of BF16 over the base color with top coat. Formula is amazing! Drum roll please..........................................

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Pinch Free Zone

Hello people :) Yesterday in the mail was my 2nd prize from Kayla's month long giveaway! Creative Cuticles Nail Polish has officially been in business for 2 years! Which is great for the indie world. Kayla's polishes are always top notch! So, for this prize I won a full sized bottle of Pinch Free Zone, a 4 leaf clover charm and 2 pairs of hand made earrings. I am very sensitive to metals so I will be giving these to my daughters for their birthdays! They just happen to be March 4th and 10th. And even better they are milestone birthdays! Abigail will 13 (A TEENAGER :O), and Keira will be 10 (double digits)! Thank you so very much Kayla for adding to their special days <3

This mani I did includes PFZ and the clover charm. And just to make it all CCNP I paired it with Ooze On The Rocks. They are perfect together if you happen to own both! PFZ is a loaded glitter polish with 7 shades of green glitter! It has 5 shades of micro hexes and 2 shades of micro flakies in a green tinted base. The bright green glitters are my favorite. They add such a pop to the polish. For this mani I used 3 thin coats of PFZ on my pinky. I did glitter gradients on my index and middle. On my ring finger I also did a circular glitter gradient to highlight the charm. You cant tell though lol. It was hidden by the charm. I added a weird macro to show you the best I could! This is a St. Patrick's Day polish so I don't think it will be available forever. If you want it go get it asap!! To the pics!

Kayla also has this charm in her shop!!! How adorable is it?!?!

This is a weird angle but you can see the gradient better.

Here you can really see the different glitters and flakies.

This picture is more blue toned than in real life! This is 3 thin coats of PFZ by itself.

Will you be buying this St. Patty's Day polish? I will leave the links below to enable!! ;)

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Autumn Nights

Hello!! How is everyone's fall season going? Keep an eye on my IG to see how mine is going so far :) I wanted to share with you a quick swatch I have been holding onto for a while now. I received this and another polish from a destash. I will show you that one soon but for right now feast your eyes on Autumn Nights from Creative Cuticles Nail Polish. This polish is sadly no longer available. Which is why I found it in a destash! OMG is it amazing! This swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. It really is a 1 coater but I just cant do that lol. The formula is a smoother than butter, deep teal, opaque creme. Totally self leveling and very fast drying. If by some slim chance you find this GRAB IT!!

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Creepy Cocktails Collection

Hello! I am late posting this, but if you follow my IG then you have already seen a few of these pics. These 3 polishes make up the Creepy Cocktails collection which is from Creative Cuticles Nail Polish. The trio will be released on October 1st. Kayla sent these along with her Fall Jelly Trio (swatched here) for me to swatch so I have been sitting on these little bottles of liquid gold for a while. I am loving them all and I'm sure you will as well.

First we have O Negative, Please. This is 2 amazingly perfect coats with top coat. If I polished a little thicker I could have just used 1 coat. This is such a sexy deep red. I felt so bad ass wearing it!

For the stamping I used SinfulColors Black On Black and Winstonia plate w108.

Here I matted it using Pure Ice matte top coat. Ring is from Claire's.

This one is Witches Brew. It has a cross between a crème and a crelly formula. Really smooth application. 2 coats plus top coat.

For the stamping I used SinfulColors Black On Black and Winstonia plate w116.

Matted using Pure Ice matte top coat.

Ooze On The Rocks. This is a slime green crelly polish. Usually that would be weird but its for Halloween so its totally fitting! This is a spot on match for the ooze in the Ninja Turtles Secret Of The Ooze. (If you like that stuff like I do lol). This crelly has a wonderful formula which (for me) is hard to find in a crelly. Kayla does them so very well. This is 3 this coats with top coat.

For the stamping I used SinfulColors Black On Black and Winstonia plate w116.

Matted using Pure Ice matte top coat.

I am SUPER happy with this trio. I will be buying these in full size asap!! And maybe a back up of O Negative, Please! Make sure you are following Kayla everywhere for updates, sales, and whatever else! Links below!! Which do you like best?

Creative Cuticles Nail Polish ~ Fall Trio 2015

Who is excited for fall?  It is my favorite time of year!! (Halloween of course;))  Today I have a fall jelly trio for you from Creative Cuticles Nail Polish! If you had read my last post about Kayla's polish then you know how much I love it! I am actually in the process of making a custom polish with her :) What an easy and awesome process. So lets take a look at these squishy beauties!! *Please excuse the crazy lighting. I just got a new light the day I took these and I am still getting used to it!

First up is Phoebe. This is a sheer neutral polish that happens to compliment my skin tone very well! The formula literally applies itself. It is so smooth and shiny! This is 2 coats without topcoat.

This is 2 coats of Phoebe with one coat of My True Love Sugarplum Gumdrops. I then sandwiched it with one last coat of Phoebe and finished it with a glossy topcoat.

 Macro from the mani above!

Heather is a black jelly that can be opaque after about 4 coats. I had trouble with this formula. For me it was streaky so I tried it with different base coats and different coat thickness. What worked best for me was a ridge filling base coat. I have very grooved nails so if you don't then you shouldn't need this. I then put 1 thin coat which was very sheer. My second and third coats were on the thicker side. Problem solved. :) Also super shiny on its own. 3 coats no top coat!

For this mani I used 3 coats of Heather with 1 coat of MTL Jason. For the chain I used a generic stamping plate with Julep's Tin Man.

Purposely blurry for the holo effect!

3 coats of Heather with one coat of Jason topped with another coat of Heather then a glossy top coat. I could not capture the holo well but I assure you, even through the black it is visible!

I matted this because I love the way it looked textured without actually being textured.

Can you see what I mean about the texture?

Lastly, but my favorite, (I may be bias) is Jennifer. In the bottle this is a deep forest green but on my nails it was a bit brighter. I love this so very much. My husband and oldest daughters favorite color is green so yay!!! Drooling over the shine as I type lol. This is 3 thin coats that level themselves perfectly. Again without top coat.

This one is 3 coats of Jennifer with 1 coat of SinfulColors Green Ocean topped with another coat of Jennifer then topped with a glossy topcoat. The stripes were done using the same generic plate and Julep's Tin Man. I purposely did not matte this because that mani is coming!!!

Here you can see the squishiness and the holo!! Which was also topped with a coat of Jennifer and glossy top coat!

Overall I feel that Kayla nailed these polishes. Perfect fall colors and totally layerable! The dry time on all of these was actually very impressive for being a jelly formula. And high gloss!? What more could you want or need?! These will be available in Kayla's shop on August 21st! Links to all that below!! Let me know what your favorite one is in the comments!!
