LevelUP Lacquer ~ New Colors!

                                                                      *Provided for review

Hey guys!! How are things where you are? Here in Connecticut, it is finally feeling like fall ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚   I had my husband start grabbing stuff to make crockpot soups. I LOVE THIS SEASON. Fun fact: I am watching Hocus Pocus right now ๐Ÿ˜ A few weeks ago, Ash sent me some new colors. 6 to be exact so let's jump right in.

Bang is inspired by Spike from the anime series Cowboy Bebop. Have you seen it? Anime is probably my most unliked type of anything. I have never gotten into it. EVER. I can't even tell you why either because I love cartoons and all types of weird crazy shit. The polish is awesome so I guess I took a microscopic step in the right direction?? Bang is a royal blue crelly base with yellow glitters and glass flecks. It dries semi-matte and oh so shquishy!! I used 3 coats plus top coat to get it opaque to my liking. You may want to add another coat or pair it with a similar base color.

Swordfish II. Can you guess what this one is inspired by? Yup! Spike's ship, also from Cowboy Bebop! This one is a glitter topper and it is super versatile. Its full of red and black glitters with a touch of white glitters. The awesome thing about this one is that some of the red glitters are transparent. So if you layer it over a light color it will look pinkish. Instant Valentine's Day polish ๐Ÿ’ฅ
I used one smooth coat, over a light grey, with top coat. The glitters in this lay perfectly flat ๐Ÿ‘

This one is called Dark Garnet. It's a dense glitter topper that gets to full coverage with 3 easy coats. It's dark and super sparkly. Vampy and totally perfect for this time of year. It will add glam to anything! I used 3 coats with top coat.

Oh flakies, why you so good?!?! I had no idea how much I could end up loving flakies. LevelUP Lacquer has some awesome flakies. This one is called Crystal Complex. The base is a jelly that is a stunning mix of emerald and teal. Then the flakies... glass fleck, rainbow, electric blue. I want to swim in this forever ๐Ÿ˜ My pics show 3 coats with top coat.

Super Nova is next. This is a dark blurple jelly filled with rainbow flakies and iridescent glitters. I thought this was blue. Then I thought it was purple. It definitely changes with the light but this is the exact definition of "blurple". Super smooth and very eye catching. I used 3 coats with top coat.

Guys. This one is mine!! I fell in love with Selene the minute I saw her so I asked Ash if she would add some silver holo flakies and name it Jennifer. She said yes and then I died. Seriously LOVE LOVE LOVE this ❤❤❤ If you want to see Selene just click HERE and it will take you to that post! Without further adieu, I give you the flakie, holo, goodness of Jennifer! 1 coat over black with top coat. Ill throw in some matte stuff too ๐Ÿ˜€

What do you think? I may be the tiniest bit bias but I'm gonna have to say that Jennifer is my favorite. My second choice though is definitely Dark Garnet. Such a sparkly beauty. Most of these are available now and the ones that aren't will be available Monday (10/23/17)! Stop by the shop and have a look. There are tons of other polishes available as well. Have a fantabulous weekend y'all!!

Goddesses Of The Moon Trio

LevelUP Lacquer ~ Goddesses Of The Moon Trio

                                                                      *Provided for review

Hello! Today I bring you some flakie and holo goodness.  Since it is Friday, I will keep this short. LevelUP Lacquer has so many new polishes out! Here we have the Goddesses Of The Moon Trio. There is 1 crรจme polish and 2 flakie toppers. Holy wow they are divine!

Nyx is the crรจme of the trio and it is a must have, staple polish. A luscious black crรจme with holographic specks scattered throughout. Great base for any nail art especially galaxy manis! I used 2 coats plus top coat.

Next is Luna. Luna is a flakie topper with tiny iridescent glitters. The flakies are like the "unicorn pee" pigment. They shift from gold to green to red to orange and whatever else thats in between there. Just lovely.

Last is Selene. I love this one the most ๐Ÿ˜ Selene has tiny iridescent glitters and flakies that change between electric blue, aqua, pink, purple, green, and in very rare instances even peach!! This polish to me screams fairy to the max!

To me, all 3 of these are staples in a collection. The range of the shift on the toppers is just fantastic. Totally unlike anything I have ever seen. You will just have to see them in person ๐Ÿ˜‰ Make sure you swing by Ash's shop to see these and so many more beautiful polishes! Have a fabulous weekend ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

LevelUP Lacquer Halloween 2017 Swatches

LevelUP Lacquer ~ Halloween Collection 2017

                                                                        *Provided for review
                                                                       **Picture heavy ๐Ÿ˜„

Who is ready for Halloween?? I have been ready since November 1st 2016!! Before we get started, I would like to take a minute to let you all know that Halloween is actually Ash's wedding anniversary ๐Ÿ’• She was married to her best friend by Darth Vader. It had to have been the most bad ass thing ever! So, make sure you stop by any and all of her social media to wish her and her husband JC an Happy Anniversary!

Now we can move on to the polish! This year LevelUP Lacquer brings you an amazing trio; 2 thermal polishes and 1 glitter topper. Since this has tons of pics I will get right to it!

The first polish is Don't Burn The Witch. This polish is dark grey when warm and grapey purple when cold. It has orange holo glitters, crushed glitters and micro holo shreds. LOVE this one! formula is fantastic and is opaque in 2 coats. All the glitters lay nice and flat. Halloween perfection in a bottle. My swatch is 2 coats with top coat.

Corn In My Candy? is the perfect name for this thermal! In it's warm state it is a bright yellow. When cold, it gets to be a bright orange. The formula on this one is also exquisite but since it is a little more sheer it will need 3 coats or a solid color undie if you want it totally solid. This one is filled with tiny iridescent hexes. My pics use 3 coats with top coat.

Hocus Pocus is the glitter topper. I realize that the color I put it over isn't exactly "Halloween" but, it really showed off the glitter. I will use it in an appropriate mani soon. This beauty has orange, purple, and green circle glitters, a mix of hex and square black glitters, and some micro glass fleck flakies. I'm not a huge fan a plain glitter toppers but I do like this one. It's enough to cover nicely without looking too bulky. I used 1 coat over Sally Hansen Cuteapillar with top coat.

How do you like them? I am so pumped that 2 are thermals! The grey to purple has me all ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿ’…
Now that my nails are pretty long (to me), the thermal stays in a constant transition!! WIN!! This collection is available now in Ash's shop! Make sure to grab it up because they are selling fast. Let me know in the comments which one you like best ๐ŸŽƒ Stay close because Ashley has so much more to come ๐Ÿ’— Have a great fall day ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

LevelUP Lacquer ~ It's Always Sunny

                                                                           *Provided for review

Monday again! And of course last night was Sunday so we were at the in laws for dinner and football! My MIL's birthday just passed so she wanted to order pizza. So we had pizza and I made chocolate chip blondies for dessert! I think my in laws hate me for bringing them such fattening stuff all the time LOL. They love me for it at the same time though. They NEVER get any dessert out of a box from me. Always scratch made, and always something different :) Don't forget to click those links up there for recipes!! The pizza dough recipe is burned into my memory. We have been using it for years for our homemade pizzas. I suppose we should talk polish now, huh? Food always gets me sidetracked. Anywho...

Today I have a 5 piece collection from LevelUP Lacquer that's inspired by It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia! Have you seen it? WOW... That's all I really have to say. These polishes are actually based on 1 specific episode: season 4, episode 13. This is the only episode I watched fully and while it wasn't terrible, it's just not for me. I'm pretty picky about my comedy. Each polish has an inspiration pic and they are so spot on! These will be available on October 3rd at 9am Alaska Time!!

First up we have Do Not Bone Me. This one is a sunny yellow polish with micro glass fleck flakies. I used 3 thinner coats with top coat for my swatch and there was a very slight visible nail line; and I mean slight! Formula was okay, not great. It's a yellow polish thing. Yellows usually have a picky formula so if you look at it from that angel than it was good! For the stamping I used Winstonia plates W111 & W406.

This chick is funny! 8 Or 9 Out Of 10 is a bright pink crelly polish with neon and fuchsia glitters and gold micro flakies. The flakies are pretty subtle but they are oh so purty <3 I used 3 thin coats plus top coat for my swatch. For the art I used Winstonia plate W109. Fun Fact: I used to take part in a Madrigal Feast at my high school (huge show with all of the arts departments). My costume every year was a dress that matches this one perfectly!!

Troll Toll. Danny DeVito is the shit. Seriously. The polish is just so fitting. It has glitters that shift just like the magical unicorn pee pigment. Green to red to gold. So awesome. This is a brown that is PERFECT for fall! I used 2 remarkable coats and top coat for this swatch. Art for this polish was done with Pueen plate PUEEN05.

Dayman aaaAAAhh is a silver foil polish. The particles are big so it almost looks chunky. It lays totally smooth and goes on great! Nice and sparkly :) I did not do any art on this one. Instead, I used the last polish in this set which is a glitter topper!

with flash

Laughs Are Cheap is a black and yellow glitter topper. It is full of glitter! My husband and I both thought it was a black polish with yellow glitters until I swatched it lol! The glitters lay flat and the distribution is awesome! I dabbed a little just to make sure I got some yellow glitters. I used 1 coat over Dayman aaaAAAhh with top coat. No art, just glitter :)

My final thought are this: wonderful polish, not so wonderful show... Troll Toll is a must have for this season!! Make sure you check out the swatch video on YouTube. Let me know down below what you think of the show and/or this specific episode! Have a great week :)
