Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer ~ Glass Princess

Hi! This is the last of 5 polishes I was sent to review for Tammy, owner of Glitz'd23! Glass Princess was the first one I decided to swatch! It just has the best iridescent glitter I have seen! It changes colors so easily! It is packed with the glitters, mini and small. The base isn't clear. Its very sheer but the base is a milky jelly. I put this over a sheer shimmer white polish because I just wanted enough of a base to show off the delicateness of this polish. So very pretty and girly! For my swatch I used 2 thin coats over the shimmer polish with a glossy topcoat. Formula was great and the glitters were totally flat. I added an extra bottle macro picture so you can see what a difference different lighting will make on this polish! Pastel rainbow!!

GLOW SHOTS!!!

Glass Princess has such a beautiful aqua glow. Just like the others, super bright! I got this glow by putting my nails and the polish bottle under my desk lamp (daylight light bulb) for 1 minute! This is another must have so do yourself a favor and get some awesome glow polish!!! Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading :)

Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer ~ Blu Lite Special

"Blu Lite Special aisle 6!! Glow in the dark polish!!" That's what I think of when I say the name of this polish. This is 1 of 2 glitters I received to swatch from Glitz'd 23. Blu Lite Special is a clear base with mini ice blue, almost white, metallic hexes and small metallic teal square glitters. For the most part I loved this topper. I put it over a white base so you didn't think the small glitters were white! I used one generous coat over white for my swatch then topped it with a glossy topcoat. I actually swatched this 3 times before I was ok with it. At first I thought what I was seeing was a super bubbly topcoat. But then when I tried it the next day over a light purple, it was the same. Almost like tiny little fuzz got in the polish. This is just the glow pigment and you cant see it unless you are looking for it. Besides that everything about this polish was great! The glitters lay nice and flat and give a good coverage with just one coat. and like most glitters it dried quickly!

See the "fuzz"?

This was a bottle shot so no topcoat bubbling goin on here!

GLOW SHOTS!!!

Blu Lite Special has such a strong blue glow!! I got this glow by placing my nails and polish bottle under my desk lamp (daylight light bulb) for 1 minute!

Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer ~ Bubble Gum Girl

Hey there! Me again! I am very excited to show you all this polish! I was so happy to see this in my swatch mail from Tammy, owner of Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer!! Pink is my favorite and this is an awesome bright pink. Not neon but definitely bold. The formula on this was jelly like with a tiny bit of the glow grit. Just what I call the slight thickness in glow formulas. It did not affect application or dry time at all. What is this awesomeness you ask? Bubble Gum Girl!! Love that name! I used 3 thin coats with a glossy topcoat and on my accent I stamped sheer bubbles with a touch of shimmer. I did sheer because when u blow a bubble it gets see through!! To the pics!

GLOW SHOTS!!!

Bubble Gum Girl has an intense orange glow! To achieve this glow I put my nails and the polish bottle under my desk lamp for 1 minute. I use a daylight light bulb in my lamp!! Everyone needs to own this polish!! Definitely go check out Tammy's shop! Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading :)

Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer ~ Carnival

Hello! Here is the second polish from Glitz'd23. The name of this one is Carnival. To me this color is the epitome of green. When someone says green, this is the color that flashes in my brain. The formula on this was more of a crème, very smooth. Dried nice and even! For my swatch I used 3 thin coats and a glossy topcoat. I wanted to do something a little different for the theme of my accent being carnival. I thought "oh! Rio!!". I am not pleased with my stamping in the slightest for this swatch but they cant all be perfect ;) Just kidding!! Check it out!

GLOW SHOTS!!!

Carnival glows a very bright aqua green, much more green than the pictures show. I got this glow by charging my nails and polish bottle under my desk lamp that has a daylight light bulb for 1 minute. I will definitely be using this in some St. Patrick's Day nailart!! Hope you enjoyed! thanks for reading :)

Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer ~ Glo Bananas

Good evening friends! Tonight I have a new to me indie brand Glitz'd23 Nail Lacquer. Tammy, the owner and creator, sent me 5 glow in the dark polishes to swatch and review. I split them all up because each color/glitter has a lot of pics! Let's begin with Glo Bananas. I would consider this a jelly polish. It is a little hard to tell because there is so much glow pigment it doesn't have a jelly feel to it. I am not complaining because that means the glow is intense!! This polish has a great formula though for a yellow! And it also has a wide brush which I am super happy about. Love those nice surprises. For my swatch I used 3 coats with a glossy topcoat. Dry time was really good. In these pics you can see a slight visible nail line. It isn't that apparent in person. I also added a banana bunch stamp for an accent. I so love stamping lately!

GLOW SHOTS!!!

To achieve this glow I put my nails under my desk lamp for about 1 minute as well as the bottle. It has a daylight light bulb. Glo Bananas has a very bright yellow-ish green glow. This ended up being one of my favorites! Definitely a unique yellow. Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading :)

My True Love Creations ~ Winter Collection

Hi all! Tonight I have for you, the Winter Collection from none other than MTL <3 There are 2 creme polishes with glitter and a glitter topper in a clear base. I really loved all of these. I know I always say that lol, but its so true. Cherise makes great polish!! She keeps getting better too! If I had to pick a favorite I would be screwed! Can't do it! Lets do this alphabetically then, shall we? First up is Deck The Halls. This polish is bright white with tons of  icy shimmer. It has the perfect amount of micro, small, and medium red holo glitters. I also has a nice smooth formula. Super stunning in person! 3 coats plus topcoat for this swatch!

Next we have Frost Bite. This is almost the same as Deck The Halls but not quite. It is also a bright white base and has the same types and sizes of glitters. This polish though, does not have shimmer. And it also has a little more glitter than DTH. I actually used this polish to make a polish ornament with because I wanted to keep it forever!! Wonderful formula!! 3 coats and topcoat pictured here.

Lastly but definitely not the least is Sugar Plum Gumdrops. This polish is packed with micro fuchsia glitters and small transparent fuchsia hexes. I love this so very much! Something about the see through glitters always gets me. They can layer and change colors depending on how you wear them! I wore it here over a light lilac. 2 coats on all fingers but my pointer. I only used 1 coat for that finger so you could see the glitter payoff with one coat. It has just enough bigger glitters for me! Perfect!!

I hope you enjoyed these polishes!! They are very versatile given the colors so I will be using these long after winter! Thanks for reading :)

My True Love Creations ~ St. Patrick's Day Duo

Happy Thursday friends! Weekend is almost here!! So, who here is Irish? I am not and neither is my husband but we love green! Especially this minty green I have for you tonight! When I opened my swatch package, this was the first one I grabbed. It's called Magically Mint. Such a creamy, even formula. It has the most awesome combination of blue and gold shimmers that matches this green wonderfully! I used 3 thin coats (as always lol) and a glossy topcoat. Such a beautiful medium mint green! On my accent I used the other half of this duo called Floating Charms*.

*The glitter half of this set started out with the name Floating Charms. Some of the glitters have sunk leading to a name change, Sinking Charms, and a discounted price so make sure you grab this asap!! It is very unique!!
Sinking Charms was a very hard glitter to pair good undies with. I wanted you to be able to see the true colors of the glitters while still keeping the St. Patty's Day theme. I originally went with a cream color but it looked like camo lol. I ended up putting it over its other half, Magically Mint. Ok, let's see, this polish is a clear base that has: micro gold glitters; small grayish-mintish, green holo, and crinkled silver hexes; large black, transparent green, and transparent yellow hexes! Seriously, the use of see through glitters is awesome!!!! I love love love them! And I say crinkled silver hexes but I really am not sure if that's right lol!  They are textured almost. You will see what I mean in the macro. Its super fun!! I used 1 dabbed coat of Sinking Charms over MM with a glossy topcoat. My glitters didn't sink very much so application was pretty easy. Good formula.

These will be released on February 26th! Follow MTL on Instagram here for updates!!
