MTL Creations ~ Northern Blizzard

Hey there! How is the holiday shopping going? Hopefully, mine will be finished on Sunday!! Anywho! This post will be short and sweet as I am only reviewing this one polish right now. It is Northern Blizzard from My True Love Creations! This is a clear base polish with tiny holo hexes, medium black hexes, blue stars, and white diamonds. The formula of this glitter topper was wonderful! Its just what I expect now from Cherise lol. I have not had any reason to think otherwise :) For my swatch I used 3 thin coats of Blue Crelly from Jolie Polish. I then topped it with one coat of Northern Blizzard and a little bit of glitter placement. Heavier glitters sink... thats just the way it is! I know that alot of ladies just tip the bottle over for a few minutes to get the glitter to the top. For me, it gets to glitter full. Know what I mean? I didnt want layers upon layers of glitter. That just looks messy, not cute! So here it is!! More from Cherise's winter collection soon :)

MTL Creations ~ Honey Dew Cuticle Oil

Hi everyone!! This post has been ready for some time. I just seem to have the worst luck with any type of technology :( I lost the pics I had so I took the closest ones to the start and finish of my 1 week using MTLCreations Honey Dew Cuticle Oil. Thankfully my husband has been a huge help at troubleshooting and I at least have these pics lol! Until I received this oil from Cherise, I had been using Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Hydrating oil, along with random lotions/creams that were nearby. Once I started using this I used ONLY this for 1 week. Let me start by giving you an idea of how my cuticles usually are, DRY!!!! My daily fluid intake is usually 3 cups of coffee. That's it lol. Besides that I suffer from OCD so I hand wash countless times a day. I would say that 20-25 is accurate for a calm day. That means I need a heavy duty oil!! This oil is very supple! It has a thickness to it so it didn't drip all over the place. It absorbs really fast though so no worries there! It doesn't soak in and disappear. It softens the skin and keeps that silky feeling for quite some time before needing to reapply. The scent that came for me was Honey Dew, a very subtle smell that is crisp and lasts. I even smelled it still after washing my hands. Barely, but it was there. This oil worked great for me. Now I use it just as much as my bliss kiss!! I would totally recommend this oil for nice soft cuticles! Cherise has awesome polish and sugar scrubs and hand crocheted items available in her shop so please go check her out and keep her in mind when thinking about holiday shopping!!! She has thermals coming out that look super amazing!! Stay tuned :)       Day 1:

My True Love ~ True Blood Part 2

Hello everyone!! Are we all ready for the holiday weekend?!?! I know I am because my birthday is Monday and my husband has a full day of surprises for me!! I usually don’t like surprises but I am so ready for this one!! I will make sure to keep you posted since I still have 2 polishes from Black Dahlia Lacquer to review! Today I have for you a new collection from My True Love! Well, more like the second half of her True Blood collection. I am sure you already can imagine how this will go… Cherise kills it again with 6 new amazing polishes. And she just had her 4th child!! Talk about an ambitious woman!! Since I will be getting all 6 in this post it will be full of pictures, but I will do my best to keep the rest (starting now lol) as short as possible. First up, we have Eric. An iridescent glitter topper with a very slight touch of holo dust and micro, small, and medium red holo hexes. I swatched one smooth coat over black and an ivory color because this also has a green shimmer that is really hard to capture. I tried!!

The next polish I want to show you is Bill. Bill is a cobalt blue polish with a subtle micro holo to it. My husband loves this one!! It's not quite as bright as the photos show, but it definitely stands out in the sun! These pictures are 3 coats with top coat. This crelly pulled a little on the first coat but was perfectly smooth and even by the 3rd coat!

Next up is Adilyn. This was the best formula in the bunch! 2 perfect, easy peasy, coats with top coat!! this is a charcoal grey with gold microglitters. just gorgeous!

Here we have Sookie. She is a very delicate, sheer, shimmer polish. For my swatch I used 4 thin coats on 3 of my fingers and 1 thin coat over a similar pink on my pinkie.the only time I could tell the difference was in the direct sun. I could see a BARELY visible nail line on all fingers but my pinkie. Not enough for it to be an issue. The shimmer is what makes me love it. I'm such a shimmer sucker!!

Pam will have a lot of pics because she is magical and deserves it!! Pam is a bright red jelly polish filled with different sized red holo hexes and holo dust. No matter how I tried I could not capture all of the beauty in one type of lighting! My skin color is a little off but its the polish you are here for right?? I used 3 coats of this polish and it was opaque. The squishiness of the jelly and the floating of the glitters made this polish glow from the inside!! Even without direct lighting! you will see what I mean.

They say to save the best for last, right?! Well, I totally did! This polish was like the never ending surprise polish. When i first opened the package i was like, "oooohhhh, I like this!!". I thought it was a black jelly with metallic blue and green glitters. As I spun the bottle I was like omg! The glitters are holo! I decided i had to bring it to a sunny window to get the full effect. Once there I noticed it is a black holo polish with blue and green holo glitters!!! Holo heaven :) This is by far my favorite of the set! I used 1 coat over black on my pinkie which was dumb because it totally built up in 3 smooth coats (as I have on the other fingers). As usual, wonderful formula!! MUST HAVE!!

This collection will be released on Monday September 1st so go follow for updates as well as a giveaway Cherise has going on right now!! Thanks for reading!! Go get you some polish :) And don't forget to congratulate Cherise on her new bundle of joy!!

MyTrue Love ~ True Blood Collection part 1

Hey ladies!! I hope everyone is having better weather than I have had lately. Because of that let me apologize for the lighting and picture quality. I did my best to have these ready asap but I had no sun to work with :(. So here is what I have for you for now and stick around because I think I want to redo these. Last time I did swatches of  My True Love polish I couldn't get over how awesome they were! These polishes are no different!! I absolutely love them :) The six polishes I swatched matched each other so well. I ended up pairing them all together. Lets check it out!! This is a macro of Sam in its warm state with one coat of Andy. I matted my pointer for these pics because its just easier to see the glitters without the shine!!  Sam is a thermal polish full of holographic dust that in its warm state is the perfect sour apple green. When cold it turns to a dark teal. Such a great transition :) I used 3 coats to make it a solid color. Andy is a glitter topper in a clear base with micro metallic blue glitter, small translucent blue hexes and medium black hexes. One coat was all I needed and no fishing required :)

This is a macro of Sam in his warm state with topcoat.

Here is the fun stuff!!!!! The different faces of Sam :) Don't mind the water. I used hot and cold water to help with the pics. Pinkie and middle finger are cold and my ring and pointer fingers are warm. The stamping plate  use is a no name brand. Something my husband picked up trying to be nice <3 I used Maybelline bold gold to stamp with. I think I am starting to enjoy stamping!

This is the transition on all the fingers.

This is the cold version of Sam.

This is the total warm state.

This gorgeousness is 4 thin coats of  Lafayette with one coat of Alcide on the top. Lafayette is a very frosty shimmery violet purple. Luxurious is the word that comes to mind!!! Alcide is very similar to China Glaze Glistening Snow. It is just a little less dense in glitter. But it is just as holo!  I didn't even want to take this off. Most of my pics lean blue for this purple but there is 1 I got that is very true to color. Super smooth and fast drying for all polishes so far!!

This one here is the one that shows true color for Lafayette. It is just as perfect all by itself!

And last but not least we have 4 thin coats of Jessica with 1 coat of Tara. Cherise told me they went well together but I wasn't expecting to be so mesmerized by the combo!! Tara is a clear base with micro pink holographic glitters. Jessica is a bright fuchsia shimmer polish that has an amazing dry time and super smooth application! With that being said I do want to note that I had a issue with this one. As you will see on 1 maybe 2 fingers there were a few bumps. I did try a few times to swatch without the bumps but it just didn't happen. I am pretty sure this was a fluke thing though because I just bought a ton of polish from her and everyone was perfect!!

Jessica alone in all her beauty!

All in all, I am again super pleased! I already am prepping my next order lol! I hope you all go check her out on instagram for updates sales and maybe even giveaways!!! I promise its worth it :)
