Hi guys! It's the weekend! I hope you are having fun times 😃 We woke up to water all over the living room today. Our humidifier leaked everywhere 😑 Have you ever heard the expression, "lucky in love, unlucky in everything else"? That is my life! Once my husband and I were married our collective luck has been garbage. I'll take it though because I love my husband so much! Know what else I love? GLISTEN & GLOW! Quick back story: 2012, I had just gotten married and got acrylic nails at a salon. I did this because I was a lifetime nail biter and I really wanted pretty hands for the day. After they came off I just decided I wouldn't bite my nails anymore! While they slowly got healthy, I was looking into nail art. I figured if they stayed pretty I wouldn't go back to biting. I came across indie polish and of course, G&G. I got my first bottle in 2013 and have never *bought* another top coat since. I have used others but nothing will ever take its place. Now, I am swatching for Jill and my dreams are made 💓💓💓 OK OK, to the polish we go. This is The Cartography Collection made in collaboration with the super talented Lotte (Marzipany on IG).
It's Gonna Be Legen… Wait For It... Dary is a "coral scattered holo with aqua and pink unicorn shimmers". I love this so much more than I thought I was going to. The coral shade is so flattering on my skin tone. I looked so tan lol. The formula was nice and even. You could totally get away with 2 thicker coats. I as usual did 3 thin coats with G&G glossy and matte top coats. It's Gonna Be Legen… Wait For It... Dary will be $9.50 USD.

Put It On The Map is a "mint shade with a strong purple shimmer". To me, this leans more minty blue than minty green. It is so freaking pretty with the strong shimmer. I do think the formula was a tad bit patchy. Nothing too bad and totally fine with a 3rd coat to smooth it over. I have noticed that intense shimmer polishes are like this for me a lot. Could totally just be my body chemistry. I used 3 thin coats plus G&G glossy and matte top coats for my swatches. Put It On The Map will be $9.50 USD.

Shut Your Map is a "deep blue with a strong green shimmer and pops of royal blue and silver holo micro glitters". First of all, WOW! There is so much shimmer that the polish almost seems teal. I love the little holo glitters but the blue ones just spark right off of the nail. It totally brings this polish to life. Absolutely breathtaking. You could probably get away with 1 thicker coat if you polish carefully. I used 2 thin coats plus G&G glossy and matte top coats. **It is a highly pigmented polish so 2 coats of base coat are recommended. Shut Your Map will be $9.50 USD.
