Glisten & Glow ~ Summer Livin' Collection: Part 1

Hi! I am so ready for all the neon summer has to offer. This Summer Livin' Collection has everything you need to get you through a fabulously bright summer! Too commercially? I mean it though lol. For this post we will be looking at part 1 of the SLC. Diving right in!
Watermelon & Waterslides is a neon pink polish. This one leans more jelly/crelly. Tad bit sheer. Formula is fantastic though. This one is so freaking juicy!! I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Slushies & Suntans is a neon orange polish. This one is crème/crelly formula. Wicked smooth and eye searingly bright. This is brighter than a brand new clean traffic cone. And those are effing bright lol. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

BBQ & Ball Games is a neon yellow polish. I would put most of these colors between a crème and a crelly. Great formula! I have come to realize that, because of my bright white fee edges, I usually need an extra coat of polish that is unneeded for most. That being said I used 3 thin coats for this one. Only because of the VNL. Formula is smooth as hell for a neon yellow. No chalkiness whatsoever. They also dry naturally to a semi-gloss not matte! Super good polish.

Road Trips & Roller Coasters is a neon green polish. When I think neon green, this is the exact color that comes to mind. This is like 80's neon green. I love it so much. Again, its a really nice smooth formula. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Flip Flops & Fireworks in a neon purple polish. This one is definitely a crème. Super opaque and applies like butter. I have this on my toes right now! 2 coats for my swatches.

Wildflower Lacquer ~ May Birth Flower

Hello! Today Wildflower Lacquer has some new stuff coming to her shop. One of them is this months Birth Flower. This one is inspired by lily of the valley. Let's see this beauty.
You're Like Lily Pretty is a white crelly with green to gold shifting shimmer, and copper shimmer, and lime to blue to green UCC flakies, and a scattered holo sparkle. This is really nice. I don't usually care for white polishes but the flakies make me love it. Also, lilies are my favorite flowers. All types. The color of the flakies is just really fun. It almost looks like tiny gems on your nail. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

I know, I know. My art has lily pads... It's all I had for lilies and we have all seen what my hand drawn art looks like. Also not sure if those flowers are supposed to be lilies but they have 6 petals like a lily. As with each monthly birth flower polish, this will be $8.50 for the month of May then it will go up to $10. There is no reason to wait since you'll be saving money on the polish! And it's worth it. Battle Of The Boy Bands Box 2.0

Today is Monday and I am here to help you with that. In just a few days the Battle Of The Boy Bands Box 2.0 will be available for you to pre-order. This box, brought to you by Wildflower Lacquer and Nailed It!, contains 2 shifty, flakie polishes; a wax melt; and a cuticle oil. Let's dive right in.
First up is the sweetest wax melt. Fan Girl wax melt is the aroma of cotton candy with notes of strawberry, and raspberry rounded out with vanilla. When I first read the description of the scent, I got one track minded and thought everything was strawberry scented. It's a little ridiculous since it isn't even the first scent listed. Even better, the oil has no strawberry scent! I was just so excited because strawberry is my favorite scent lol. Anyways, the scent is freaking delicious. Like a carnival scent minus the fried food. Just all the sweets. This is my favorite type of smell for me as well. This is a large wax and can be cut in 2 if you want to split it.

Next is the cuticle oil. Back to the 90’s cuticle oil is scented in a juicy blend of candied watermelon and sugary cotton candy. Totally a jolly rancher on your fingers. I love this so very much. The oil itself lingers on your fingers, continuing to do it's job without feeling greasy. It's actually more silky. Liquid silk that smells like candy. COUNT. ME. IN!!!

The first polish is Nailed It! Rock Your Body. Rock Your Body is a purple base with a shifty blue to violet pigment, crystal chameleon flakies, silver flakies, and a subtle linear with scattered holo. This is an ideal polish. Purple base, flakies, shifty, holo. This polish applies very smoothly. You could use 2 coats but I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Lastly (only because it has the most pics!) is Dirty Pop. Dirty Pop is a gray base with subtle red to orange to gold to green shift, UCC flakies that shift from copper to green to pink, and scattered crystal flakies. This one is so good. It's versatile and perfect for layering. I layered it over black and grey. The description says it's a subtle shift but it's really not 😍 This one is sheer so I suggest using it as a topper. I used 3 coats by itself and 1 coat over black and grey. Again, I opted for hand drawn nail art and I blew it. Don't feel bad about laughing because I certainly cringe at it.
