Dr.'s Remedy

                                                                        *Provided for review/press sample

Hello nail lovers!! Isn't it wonderful when you can combine beauty with health?! This brand does just that. Made by podiatrists when they realized that most of their patients issues revolved around brittle or discolored nails. Here is some info directly from their site!

"Dr.'s REMEDY offers over 30 different shades of nail color along with nail care products such as base coat, top coat, cuticle care and a nail hydration. Each product is infused with a special blend of ingredients selected by Dr. Cirlincione and Dr. Spielfogel. This blend includes: wheat protein, tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract and lavender. Dr.'s Remedy products do not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor or pthalates or DBP. Dr.'s REMEDY is the best alternative to traditional nail polish."

You can find more info about the doctors and see the full line of colors and treatments by clicking the link at the bottom of this post. For now I will show you what I got and let you know how I feel overall.

Lets get started with SUBTLE Sunshine. The description given is "A soft, golden yellow with a sprinkle of shine." That's pretty accurate. It's a sheer golden yellow with very fine glass fleck shimmer. This one can be worn alone or over other similar color cremes for an instant soft bling. The formula on this was wonderful and dried nice and smooth. I used 3 coats with top coat.

The next polish I chose was NURTURE Nude Pink. " Barely there beautiful with a hint of iridescence." This one was not exactly that. It is a gorgeous peachy nude polish with a very subtle shimmer that to me looks hot pink. This is my type of nude polish. I liked it a lot on my skin tone. The shimmer was sooo hard to capture. Pretty sure you can only see it in the macro. I used 2 coats with top coat for my swatch.

Next up is HOPEFUL Hot Pink. This one says, "The perfect ultra bright pink, almost neon and perfectly matte."  Again, this was not really the case...

Firstly, sorry about the dry, messy cuticles. This was taken in between coats. This is the first coat and it is fully dry. See anything weird? THE SHINE!  It says it's a matte polish but I could have gotten away with out a top coat, it was so shiny. That being said, I love this one. Perfect formula, bright happy color, just not matte. At all. Here is my "official"swatch pics. I used 2 flawless coats with top coat.

Last polish I picked was a classic red creme. RESCUE Red is described as,  "A classic fire engine red." This is the most accurate description of them all. It really needs no explaining. I used 2 perfect coats plus top coat for my swatch.

Overall, these polishes are great. I highly recommend them if you are trying to go healthy with your polish. Or if you want to heal your nails while keeping your tips polished. Or maybe you just like the colors. Whatever the reason, this stuff is amazing. I noticed it didn't have a strong scent at all. That made me super happy because I get pretty bad headaches from the fumes of polish. I also noticed how wonderful the formula was. The creme polish is almost crelly like while still having the full coverage of a creme. Please do yourself a favor and at least check out their site and what they are all about. As always links are below! I hope you all have a good night!! See you tomorrow with some new stuff :)

February Adore Box

                                                                      *Provided for review/press sample

Hey peoples!! That's not rude is it?? I hope not! So, how are things where you are? I am busy busy busy!! Lots of stuff going on here as far as reviews and regular home stuff. First let me apologize for the delay. I like to actually try and use my products before reviewing them. My daughters and I had a blast with this box. Let's get started :)

I hope you can see that choker!! It was the only pic I was able to get before it got taken!! I tried it on (and loved it), then my daughters both tried it on. Pretty sure my mom has it now lol. That should say enough though. It was a huge hit in this family <3

Next up is the Crown Brush Fan Brush. If you watched my un-boxing video, the word I was looking for was SYNTHETIC. Ugh... Anyways, This fan brush is definitely on the thicker side. I actually used it to contour. It blended wonderfully. I don't have any fan brushes so I can't wait to put this to good use!

The Kleancolor Peel-N-Seal Brow Tint Gel is awesome!! I was nervous because I had never used something like this before. Then I opened it and was terrified!! The gel is soooo dark. I figured what the heck and slapped it on.  Application was pretty easy.  It took about 2-3 minutes to fully dry. When it was dry, I started at the end of my brow and peeled toward the center. It took a few stray brows but I didnt even feel it. It didn't pull or get tight at all. What I was left with was a brow that was a shade darker than my original brows. You can leave it on longer for more dramatic results. I absolutely love it. Such a hassle free way to deepen your brow color!! Gonna need more of this.

Peter Lamas Nourishing Buriti Oil Moisturizer. I was so excited to see that there was a moisturizer in this months box. My skin is normally dry, never mind in winter. Right after I filmed my un-boxing, I put some of this on. I will say it could have smelled better. But the relief I felt was immediate. Very nice on the skin.

One of my favorite things this month was the Me Now True Lips Lip Liner Pencil. It is the hottest of hot pinks. I used to always be a lip balm girl. My new found love of make up has really made me want to try new things. THIS. WAS. PERFECT! I used this to line my lips and color them a little, then added a sheer translucent gloss over it. I really loved the affect <3 I have very thin french lips so if you know any good plumping glosses or whatever, let a girl know!!! This liner applied so smoothly.

Now for my favorite product! Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour. This is a new to me brand so I was beyond excited to get this baby. I have only heard amazing things about this brand and I was more than blown away. This eye color flows on like silk! So pigmented and is has some serious stay power! I have only tried this on quickly but I can tell you already it will be getting lots of use from me. The gorgeous flecks it has is just.... Omg.

Again, I am super happy with my Adore Beauty Box. These are all things that will get actual use. There is nothing worse than a box full of stuff you wont use! Luckily that is not the case with this box. It is super customizable and affordable. And if you want your first box for half off, use the code: HALFOFF    As always the links are below! Don't pass this box up!! You will not be dissappointed <3 Have a great week everyone :)

New Overwatch Colors!

*Provided for review / press sample

Hey!!! It's Friday :) And with today being the most awesome day of the week, I bring you awesome, new Overwatch colors from LevelUP Lacquer! Ash has been very busy in her lab creating so many beauties <3 This installation of the Overwatch series has 4 new polishes. One of them is thermal!! And as usual she has kept them so very unique. Let's get to it, shall we?

The first color I want to show you is Orb Of Harmony. This polish is based off of the character Zenyatta. It is a charcoal-ish silver metallic polish with gold flakies. It dries naturally to a satin finish. For my swatch I used 2 smooth coats with top coat.

The next one up is Boop. This one is amazing. Based off of Sombra, it is a light orchid crelly base with purple hex glitters and a very subtle dusting of holo.  The formula is perfect and squishy. No glitter fishing at all. 2 coats with top coat.

This macro is the most color accurate pic of this polish

Now we have the thermal. This one is based on Symmetra and is called My Reality. Oh how I love thermal polishes. This one is very sensitive. When warm it is a milky whitish-grey color with tons of teal and white glitters. When cold the base turns teal. It is so awesome because with each change, there is a different stand out feature. Cold shows off the white glitters, and warm shows the teal glitters. I used 3 thin coats for my swatch. The formula was great and had plenty of glitters naturally.

As much as I love thermals, this next polish was the standout for me. It's called High Noon and is based on McCree. This is a plum toned brown jelly polish with lavender, copper, and red glitters. On paper this just doesnt make sense to me. In the bottle it is STUNNING! Never in my life would I have thought to put these colors together but it works so very well. As per her norm, Ash does unique with a bang. 2 perfect coats with top coat.

As always, Ashley outdid herself. These polishes are unique and fun, to say the least. What do you think of them? These four new colors will be available on February 17th. Make sure you check out the links below because there are some new colors you have to see!! Let me know below which is your favorite :) Thanks for sticking through all the pics!
