Honey Bunny Lacquer ~ The Doors Collection

Hello!! Today i have something super special to share with you!! I recently got up the guts to approach Deb, owner of Honey Bunny Lacquers, to swatch some of her polishes. Not just for fun but i really would love to be a part of the swatching world. I feel i have come leaps and bounds from where i was months ago and would like to start taking this more seriously. When i asked Deb about swatching she said absolutely!!! She, like myself, likes great music and sent me some polishes from her Doors collection!!!!! Even better she sent me one called love street which is my FAVORITE doors song. I was so excited to be "officially" swatching :) the polish in the bottle looks sooo pretty. Peace frog is a beautiful green with gold shimmer. It just glides on the nail so smoothly. It took 3 coats until solid but every coat just as smooth as the last. Dries pretty swiftly as well. Then i added the glitter, Love street. OMG!!! They were perfectly matched for each other. Tiny holo hexes and small green squares just make me melt. I did have to place a few of the bigger hexes but it was worth it. In every pic i only used one coat of glitter. I also used seche vite top coat for all pics :) Tons of pics for these ones ladies!! Make sure to follow Deb on instagram for updates and stock info @dmob74. And on twitter @beautyninja4!! ENJOY!!

Zoya ~ Carter

Hey!! Number 2 of my pixie dust polishes. This is Carter by Zoya. Again i dis not care for this when i first put it on. Loved the pics i had seen so i was very upset. By the time i was putting on my 3rd coat i was in love!!! Its the most beautiful purple with pink glitter. So happy i grabbed this. 3 coats of awesomeness with and without topcoat. And a macro!!! Enjoy!! But dont drool on your screen ;)

Zoya ~ Arabella

Hi!! Today has been a busy busy day and now i am finally winding down to share some swatches i did last night. This is Arabella by Zoya. I loved this so much in all the pictures i had seen but when i put it on it want what i expected. I really am not sure why. Either way i do still really like it. Its a beautiful fall magenta with some serious sparkle. This is 3 coats with and without topcoat. Went on nicely and dries super fast!! I highly reccomend the pixie dust line :) Enjoy!

Femme Fatale Lacquers ~ MaKayla Rose

Hello!!! I have for you a new brand to me today! It is Makayka Rose made by Cynthia of Femme Fatale Lacquers. When i first saw the bottle i was just like "eh". Didnt really wow me. Which was hugely surprising because i love me a pink/grey color combo!! Needless to say it has sat for about 2 months untried. I had just recently done a nail mail swap with the wonderful @millnrob on instagram. Mildred sent me "pussy galore". A liquid sand polish from OPI. It had eluded me for so long!!! Since its October i wanted to pair my new textured pink polish with something not so pink. Bam! This combo was born. Its so feminine :) its not totally season appropriate but it reminds me of a soft knit sweater. Does that count?! Anyways. I would have to say that so far this indie brand had the best formula i have used!!! Absolutely cant wait to swatch my other one then go buy more!!! Took a few macros of these as well so enjoy lovelies!!

Breast Cancer Awareness Nails :)

Hey ladies!! By now im sure you all know that October is breast cancer awareness month. I support this cause every chance i get. Im sure this is where most women would tell a survivor story of some sort. I on the other hand dont have one. I dont and never have known anyone with this awful disease. For this i am very lucky!! I support this cause just because i am female. My friends, mother, sisters, daughters are all female. The chances are 1in 8 women so the chances are high. Please go get yourself checked!! It could save your life!! I did these nails for this cause. I used china glaze something sweet, stardust polish pink bikini, and orly miss conduct for the ombré. The gems are self stick gems from avon ( thanks mom!). Enjoy ladies!!!

This is where i will add all of my breast cancer awareness manis :) heres a few shots of my mix n match acrylic paint design!!

Sally Hansen Sugar Coat ~ Red Velvet

Hey lovely ladies :) i have been pretty much on the fence about textured polish. The brands all have different textures and some just feel like glitter. Because of this i stayed selective on ones i picked and didnt pick. I knew i HAD to have this one when i saw it though. The name had me immediately. My other huge passion is baking :) and im pretty well known for my red velvet cakes!! But the color... *drools* is amazing. Here i used 3 coats without top coat. Only needed two but everyone has their own ocd. 3 Coats is mine lol. The first pic looked so bright amd not accurate. But it was still pretty so i am postimg anyway!! The other two are more color accurate but totally washed out my skin. Owell. The polish is definitely the star here!! Applied amazingly and dries super fast. Got mine on sale at right aid for $2.99!!! Run ladies :) Enjoy!!

Nicole by OPI ~ Be Ama-Zing

Here is Be Ama-Zing! Its a very smooth formula. This is two coats with top coat. Its unfortunately just boring. Not a unique pink at all. I wanted this one to be my fav too!! Just a few pics for you of this. Didnt want to take many more... Enjoy ladies :)

Nicole by OPI ~ Pros & Confidence

Hello!! Today i have Pros & Confidence. Like the other two polishes in this set the formula is great. But again just like the others its a pretty blah color. Its actually a little more greenish and not so bright. Its nice but i could but this color from any other brand. I had this on for maybe an hour for swatching only and i had bad staining. I would hate to see what happens when its on for a day!!! Not too sure i will be keeping these. Enjoy!!
