                                                                      *Picture heavy

Y'all... I was asked to guest swatch for the month of July for Hella Holo Customs!!! I just about peed myself when I got the message. What an honor amirite?!?! If you are not a member of this super awesome facebook group you need to be. It is the only way to get your hands on the custom monthly polishes. Seriously! They actually check each order to make sure! Anywho, in a nut shell, this group has different indie makers, each month, make exclusive polishes that somehow contains holo. Both of these makers are new to me so this will also be a first impression! Let's get to it :)

In no particular order, I'm gonna start with Heather's Hues. They were the first polishes I received and I instantly fell in love. The range of these 3 polishes is just WOW!! There is a multi chrome, a dense glitter, and a linear holo. Not to mention the mass amounts of rainbow flakies. Are you drooling? I'm drooling. The formula was on the thicker side but I know some people like that. I prefer thinner polish so I added a few drops of thinner and all was well. Perfection in a bottle. Descriptions are from the group so they are accurate, but formula thoughts and all that are my own :)

L-R: Moonstruck, Hidden Magic, Kaleidoscope
I took this pic.

First up is Hidden Magic. This polish is a purple-blue-pink iridescent color-shift base with linear holo, holo micro glitters, and holo flakes, iridescent chameleon glitters, and a mix of iridescent color-shift flakes. I used 3 thin coats alone then 1 coat over black! This one has to be seen in person to get the full effect of the drop dead gorgeous BLING!!

Next for Heather's Hues is Moonstruck. I wish I had gotten better pics but I will link some fabulous ladies below so you can see more of these beauties. This polish is a purple base with a luminous blue shimmer, linear holo, and a mix of iridescent color-shift and multi chrome flakes in pink, blue, green, teal, and violet. Sooooo pretty. I used 2 coats for this one. I feel like the flakies left dips in the polish. Almost like a curled glitter. I used 2 coats of top coat to smooth it out. The formula of the polish itself was wonderful.

Lastly for HH, and most definitely my favorite, Kaleidoscope. This polish is a rainbow multi chrome base filled with a rainbow mix of multi chrome flakes, linear holo, and a touch of holo micro glitters. 2 coats of absolutely perfect everything! I keep my swearing to a minimum here but this totally warrants an  O M Mother Fucking G!! Rainbows on Rainbows :)

Are you ready for the next set of 3 pretties?! Oh so ready yes? Ellagee, how I have lusted over thee for so long. If only I could have an unlimited polish fund... I am more than ecstatic to report that they are off the charts AWESOME!!

L-R: Heartstone, Aquatic, Nightspark
Pic borrowed from Nicky!

Pic borrowed from Charity!

The first polish from Ellagee is Aquatic.  This polish is a soft linear aqua holo with aqua and silver shimmer, tiny iridescent flakes and silver/white flakes. This one was a little on the sheer side. I actually used 4 thin coats for this. I would suggest a base color first if that bothers you. It was absolutely fine though. No bubbling or dragging and it dried nice and quick! Very impressive <3

This polish has already been asked for by my mother and mother in law for manis and pedis. Such a subtle stunner. This beauties name is Heartstone. This polish is a quartz pink with scattered holo, aqua shimmer and iridescent glitter. If you are a pink lover, your collection requires this. I used 2 coats for this baby.

Nightspark is the last of the 3 polishes from Ellagee.  This polish is a blurple with a medium intensity linear holo, pink shimmer, soft green flakes and sheer color shifting flakes. Holy rainbows. This one is impossible to not stare at. I used 2 perfect, buttery coats.

The Ellagee's each come with a corresponding ring. I used Charity's and Nicky's pics for this. They both have such photography talent!! GOALS :) Other info is available... if you are a member of this exclusive facebook group! I will have links below for the group and the swatcher's pics that I used! Make sure you get these while you can. They are available for only about 2 weeks and there is a coupon code for the rest of the shop, in the sales post, in the group. RUN!! Number 4 Jour d’automne Sugar Texturizing Spray

                                                                           *Provided for review

Hey my faithful readers! It has been one heck of a crazy start to summer. I have had this product for way too long without blogging about it. I do NOT like to be this behind when I have someone counting on me. I could give a million excuses because I definitely have them, but I won't. I am just going to apologize and move on. Life is life. Too the hair stuff!

To start off, I call everything for your hair, hair stuff. This "stuff" happens to be a sugar texturizing spray. Right now texturizing sprays are THE thing to have. Usually, though, these are salt sprays. I am going to give you all the info you need for this sugar spray then I will let you know what I thought. If you want to skip the info just skip down to the pics!

Number 4 Hair Care Ignites a Texture Transformation With New Sugar Texturizing Spray Number 4 Jour d’automne  Sugar Texturizing Spray denounces salt while heralding sugar in a declaration of sweet love for hair texture that is perfectly undone.  Transform limp, lackluster strands into loose, touchably soft, “beach inspired” waves with a nourishing blend of sugar and flexible styling aids.  Sugar Texturizing Spray aids in style defense against humidity to help build a long-lasting relationship with texture that’s more than just a summing fling.

To fully comprehend the vast benefits of Sugar Texturizing Spray, let’s start with a little comparison in a sugar versus salt battle for your hair’s affection:

          Salts:
Can irritate hair, skin and even eyes Moisturizing
Can strip hair of its essential oils and hair color, causing dry, brittle, lifeless hair

          Sugars:
 Can strengthen hair
 Can deliver soft waves

How It Works:  Sugar Texturizing Spray achieves hair texture through simple sugar cane molecules and flexible styling aids producing a lattice of soft structure and haphazard patterns of loose, shiny waves
How to Use It:  Spray through mid-lengths to ends.  Scrunch, tousle, blow dry with a diffuser, or air dry as desired
Results:  Hair in need of a texture reboot will thrive with a sweet misting of Sugar Texturizing Spray.  Create a transformative element of style with staying power--the undone, “beachy” wave.  Flex net resins help keep glossy texture intact despite unfavorable conditions of heat and humidity, while anti-static properties provide extra nourishment.
Color Protecting, Anti-Aging, Vegan, Cruelty Free, Gluten Free, Sulfate & Sodium Chloride Free, Paraben Free.
Fragrance Notes:  Tonka Beans, Patchouli, Spanish Moss.
Sugar Texturizing Spray 4.9oz is available in salons and select retailers nationwide.  Suggested Retail Price is $22.00.  For a complete listing, please visit http://www.number4hair.com

As you can see I only have 2 pics. I took more but not one of them were worth it. The top pic is after I sprayed the spray in my hair then I braided it. The second pic was immediately after waking up and taking the braid out. It had an amazing shine! It also has the hold of a hair spray. It was sticky though. It says it won't be but it was. That was my only issue with this stuff. I don't know why but I just can't get anything to work with my hair. IT JUST WANTS TO BE STRAIGHT!! I even had a perm come right out before. I did pass it to my mother in law after my failed uses. She loves it. She even loves the Patchouli scent. I would say she uses it daily or almost daily. She has short hair. She sprays some on when its dry and she scrunches it. Looks like she just walked out of the damn salon. How do you people get so lucky???? Anyways, I will leave the purchase link below! If you would like something better for your hair than a drying salt spray, this is definitely up your alley! Let me know what you think when you get it! Hope you all have a great Friday :) Thanks for reading!
