SinfulShine ~ Shining Couture

FRIDAY!! Any good plans for the weekend? I will be doing absolutely nothing. Boring adulthood...  Today I am bringing you a quick swatch from SinfulColors SinfulShine line. Just to put it out there, SinfulColors and SinfulShine do not have spaces between the words. I don't know why but I have swatched for the company and they specifically asked for it to spelled that way. The polish I have today is called Shining Couture. I received this for free for testing purposes from PINCHme. They are a sample testing site that I use often. I get things from polish and lotion, to deodorant and cat food! All they ask in return is an honest review. Easy peasy. I was also given the Step 2 which is the SinfulShine top coat. This line of polishes is supposed to have the gel like finish but without the light usually needed for gel nails. I really didn't see any difference from my HKGirl topcoat. They are both very shiny. That is where the similarities stop though. It is not fast drying at all! I cant say much about lasting power because no polish has lasting power on these hands lol! As far as the actual polish, it also wasn't very special. Very pretty but nothing about it stands out. It is a deep blue jelly polish with huge amounts of gold micro flakies. So much so that it leans green. My swatch is 3 thin coats with Step 2 top coat.

Shining Couture macro. This shows a visible nail line but in person you couldn't see this at all.

So what do you think? I am still unsure of this line. I will have to try more to form a fair opinion. SinfulColors are available almost everywhere! Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreen's, Rite Aid, etc. Let me know in the comments what color from this line I should get next!! Have a good weekend!!

DIFFERENTdimension ~ 80's Baby All Grown Up

Happy 4th of July y'all!! I am not southern, I just really feel that y'all fits there so well lol! Anyways, A few weeks ago I won another giveaway!! This one was hosted by my favorite top coat maker, Jill from Glisten & Glow! Hands down the best top coat out there. Since this was a summer giveaway it of course included neon polish! Click here for the giveaway pic and all info on what I won!! Me being me, I got to polishing right away! I have done way more manis with these DIFFERENTdimension colors than I have pics for but I still have plenty! Cant get enough of these neon holo cremes. Let's do these in rainbow order shall we?!
First up, Ditz 2.0. The names are the best lol. Ditz 2.0 is a neon pink crème with a scattered holo effect, and slight flashes of micro blue flakies to it. For this swatch I used 2 thin coats with and without top coat so you could see the semi-matte finish. This polish was a little on the thicker side so if you are really light handed (I am not) you could probably get away with one careful coat. LOVE!!

Next is Tubular 2.0. Tubular 2.0 is an eye searing neon orange with scattered holo and tons of golden micro flakies. Just gorgeous. My swatch is 2 coats with and with out top coat to show off the semi-matte finish.

Totally 2.0 (yes they are all 2.0 lol) is a neon yellow with greenish undertones. It has scattered holo and golden micro flakies. This color, like most yellows required an extra coat and a little finesse. 3 coats covered perfectly for me. With and with out topcoat for your viewing pleasure!

My favorite from this collection is definitely Gnarly 2.0! It is the perfect shade of neon green. Like neon clover! It has scattered holo and blue micro flakies! Totally drool worthy! 2 perfect coats with and without top coat.

Homeboy 2.0 is also an amzing shade! Neon blue with matching blue micro flakies and scattered holo! This was a one coater, just not for me lol! I used 2 thin coats with and without topcoat.

I don't know why the lighting was so off for this macro but it was the best one I got lol!

Last we have Whatever 2.0. This is a red toned purple with scattered holo and micro blue flakies. Purples don't play nice with cameras sometimes so please trust me when I tell you it is not so blue-ish! I used 2 thin coats with and without topcoat! This is my second favorite... I think.

Here are a few things I did using these colors!!

I would say that I love this collection but I just don't think that quite cuts it! Any neon and holo lovers, like myself, need this collection in their lives. With all the micro flakies added to the holo cremes it makes it different than your everyday neons. Polished by KPT ~ Do You Wanna Fanta?

Hi!! Hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday. I, however, just watched my NFL team get taken out of the playoffs by possibly the WORST CALL EVER!!!! Anywho, tonight I have Do You Wanna Fanta? from Polished By KPT. This was a summer 2014 release and I have needed it since the first day I saw it! I was finally able to get it and I freaked out a little when I finalized my purchase. Do you ever get so excited about a polish its like there was just a birth in the family?!?! So ya, this polish was worth every penny of the $15 I paid for it. It is $12 for the polish and $3 for shipping from coast to coast. This thermal polish is a bubblegum pink when warm and bright orange when cold. In transition it gets to be a very pretty coral color. The micro flakies in this are amazing. It has gold and violet which compliments all colors perfectly!! For my swatch I used 3 thin coats. DYWF has a great formula and I probably would have been fine with 2 thicker coats but I always prefer thin coats. I topped it with a shiny topcoat. I forgot to try it matte this time but that will definitely happen in the future and I will make sure to add pics when it does. Here it is!!
