Orly ~ Mirrorball

Hello!! I have the last of my 4 holiday Orly polishes for you! This is Mirrorball and as you can imagine this will have lots of pics :) I was lucky enough to have 3 of these bottle. I used 1 bottle to make 2 Christmas ornaments. I have 1 bottle for me. The last bottle is up for grabs in my giveaway on Instagram!!! Go check it out and win you some awesome holo stuff :D Mirrorball is very unique for a salon brand!! It is a linear holo base with tiny silver holo hexes throughout. Nail addicts everywhere went nuts for this polish when it came out. I have a hard time not using it with every mani lol. I used 3 coats for my swatches just because that's what I do. Not sure why... 2 coats would be opaque if you prefer. I love that this formula doesn't drag. Its hard to find a really smooth linear holo like this. I will be using this a lot!! Take a look!!

Orly ~ Bling

Hi all!! Did all my fellow New Englanders make it through blizzard Colbie ok? I live in Connecticut pretty close to Rhode Island and we got about 32 inches at my house!! Luckily, we did not lose power! My husband and I did what we love to do most. We vegged out and watched a ton of movies :) Tonight I have another Orly for you! This time I have Bling. Bling is a clear base polish full of square, micro, holographic, gold glitters. The name Bling says it all. This polish is super flashy!! I used 3 thin coats to make it solid. It would look great over any color but I just love it so much I wanted it on by itself. Formula was great. Super happy with Orly polishes as of late! New obsession?! I think so lol. You will see why in a second! let me know what you think of this in the comments!!

Orly ~ Steal The Spotlight

Hi friends! Hope you all had a good long weekend! Mine was hectic as usual lol. Glad I had this saved :) This Is Steal The Spotlight from Orly. It is a super dense micro glitter polish in a clear base. The micro glitters are teal leaning green. It also has small hexes that are a medium dusty rose color that are holographic!! If you follow me on Instagram, then you may know that I have a giveaway going on right now. This polish will be added to that! I got an extra for Christmas so why not! I also will be extending that giveaway but all those details will be on IG :) My swatch is 3 coats alone with topcoat. Formula was great for such a glitter filled polish. Definitely not my usual pick but I really had to have this. I am not at all disappointed :) What do you think? Let me know in the comments!!

Orly ~ Explosion Of Fun

Hello again friends! Its almost the weekend!! Tonight I have for you a polish from Orly Sparkle collection. I don't have them all because I did not like them all. But I have the good ones ;) Tonight I will show you Explosion Of Fun. This is one of the hardest polishes to capture in a picture!! I have seen this described in a million different ways, but here is my take on it. It has a sheer magenta base with a very strong electric blue shimmer. It also has tiny deep magenta holographic hexes, almost red actually. All together, this polish is wonderful! I used 3 coats with topcoat for the first swatch. I used 1 coat over Sinful Colors Steel My Heart for the second swatch. You really just need to see it for your self. In person if you have the chance! Let me know what you think in the comments!!

Sally Hansen Triple Shine ~ Sparkling Water

Hello!! Today is my Monday so I wanted to brighten up your evening :) What better way to do that than with this gorgeous tealish/bluish bold shimmer polish. This is Sparkling Water from Sally Hansen. My husband picked this out and I was like, "eh". I don't know how he does it but he always manages to pick polishes that I originally don't like, and I end up loving them. That was definitely the case with this one. I used 3 thin coats with topcoat for this swatch. It started a little bit sheer but built right up!  Formula was wonderful! I have a bunch of SH Triple Shine sheer jelly polishes! I have got to take those out and do something fun with them! Anyways, check it out!

I had to add this bottle macro in a different lighting because it looks multi chrome!! I love the green and purple you can see flash with different lights!!

Polished by KPT ~ Do You Wanna Fanta?

Hi!! Hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday. I, however, just watched my NFL team get taken out of the playoffs by possibly the WORST CALL EVER!!!! Anywho, tonight I have Do You Wanna Fanta? from Polished By KPT. This was a summer 2014 release and I have needed it since the first day I saw it! I was finally able to get it and I freaked out a little when I finalized my purchase. Do you ever get so excited about a polish its like there was just a birth in the family?!?! So ya, this polish was worth every penny of the $15 I paid for it. It is $12 for the polish and $3 for shipping from coast to coast. This thermal polish is a bubblegum pink when warm and bright orange when cold. In transition it gets to be a very pretty coral color. The micro flakies in this are amazing. It has gold and violet which compliments all colors perfectly!! For my swatch I used 3 thin coats. DYWF has a great formula and I probably would have been fine with 2 thicker coats but I always prefer thin coats. I topped it with a shiny topcoat. I forgot to try it matte this time but that will definitely happen in the future and I will make sure to add pics when it does. Here it is!!

What do you think of this polish? I would love to hear from you!! Until next time :)

OPI ~ Pink Of Hearts 2014

Hello! Tonight I have a polish duo From OPI. This is the Pink Of Hearts collection for 2014. It took me forever to get these but I have made a point of getting every yearly set/polish since 2012. Not a huge accomplishment but I had just stopped biting my nails so whatever! Anyone who knows me also knows that awareness of breast cancer is super important to me. As it should be for all females (and men)!!! It could happen to anyone anytime!! Click here to be brought directly to the Susan G. Komen site for info and/or to donate!! Back to the polish! Pink Of Hearts 2014 had 2 polishes and a little pink nail file with a glitter side and attached pink ribbon. The pink ribbon is clipped on with a lobster claw type clasp and I am really happy about that because I will be able to move it to my key chain when I am done using the file.

First polish up is Mod About You. Mod About You is a bright pastel pink crème. the formula is very opaque but I still found it very streaky. My swatch on my fresh new nubs is 3 thin coats with a shiny topcoat.

Second polish is The Power Of Pink. This polish is a sheer milky crelly tinted slightly pink with matte white and fuchsia micro and medium sized glitters. This was the one I was more excited for and I ended up liking the pink crème better!! I really do like this, its just not for me. I may come back to this when my nails are a little longer. My swatch is 3 thin coats with top coat and a matte coat on my pinkie. Very smooth formula for so much glitter!

Over all I am super happy with this purchase! I cant wait to see what OPI releases for 2015!!

Secret Nail Santa

Happy Tuesday!! Today I want to share my experience with a Secret Nail Santa group. I am part of a private group on Facebook called Nail Addicts. The group is run by amazing ladies! We just finished a Secret Nail Santa swap! Tatiana Amelia S. was the first to suggest it and it started from there! Dawn Figueroa was the one who ended up running this whole crazy group!! We all used a site called Drawnames.com. It had a place to fill out your personal wish list that only your sns could see. And of course there was a place to keep track of what your drawn name wants! There was also a message board just for chatting or what not.  This is what it looked like

I would definitely use this site again, although there were a few ladies that suggested other sites for the next swap.  Since this is from my perspective all I will show is what I received from Morgan Summer. I was so happy with what I got and I am pretty sure I have used my cup every day since!! Lets start from the beginning! This is what I saw as soon as I opened the box!

This gift card was amazing because coffee is my main food group!!

My first stamping plates from winstonia!! I love them and use them constantly!! It also makes for much faster nail art on my 8 year old daughter lol.

CHOCOLATE!!!! All the best kinds :)

Seriously!?!? Could it get any better than this? This stays on my nail desk full of ice water all the time!

A polish bottle necklace! I put this on immediately :)

As you can see, I was spoiled!! Thank you again so much Morgan for the awesome Christmas presents!! Do you participate in any swaps? There are a ton out there!
It is so much fun!! Thanks for reading ;)
