Color Street Nail Strips

Hi guys! Today I have a different type of post. I did a wear test on some Color Street samples I was sent. Just for funsies. These are not the best pics since this was all done on my right hand. The first color I was sent was called Moon River. A dusty deep blue with silver glitters. I loved the color so much. I had never used strips like this before. They adhere so well. They even stretch a little to fit YOUR nail shape perfectly. Here are some progress pics.

The second sample I was sent I recorded how to apply them. That will be on my YouTube. These lasted the entire 2 weeks and I beat them up really good. I changed diapers, did dishes, swatched about 15 polishes, plus the normal wear and tear. This color was called Tokyo Lights. A gold and fuchsia glitter bomb. I loved it so much.

July 16th. This was my fault. I have a sharp curve in my nail and I didn’t adhere it as well as I should have. I also nicked the side 🙄

I highly recommend these if you don’t want to touch up your nails every few days. This is a super simple, no mess way of having your nails painted. And no dry time! The price is pretty good too. I actually thought they were more expensive so I was schooled. Thank you so much to Patricia for putting up with my forgetful self! Mini Golf & Margaritas is a neon blue polish. This polish is the best blue I own 💙 I also have this on my toes. Absolutely the perfect crème formula. 2 easy peasy coats. Could have been 1!

Bikinis & Boogie Boards is lighter neon blue glitter crelly with all neon glitters in various sizes and shades of  orange, green, yellow, and blue. How unique is this?! This reminds me of an orange or a peach tree on a clear summer day. This polish literally made my mouth water at first. The formula is a little on the thick side. Nothing a few drops of thinner won't fix if you want it thinner. 2 coats for my swatches

Cotton Candy & Convertibles is a lighter neon pink glitter crelly loaded with all neon glitters in various sizes and shades of pink and purple. If you love neon and you are also a girly-girl, you need to own this. It is so sweet I just wanna eat it. It reminds me of a cotton candy frosting . So good! I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Snow Cones & Skinny Dipping is a white based glitter crelly loaded with all neon glitters in various sizes and various shades of pink, purple, blue, green, orange and yellow. This one is funfetti for sure. Super bright and fun. I love love love this one. Way more than I thought I would actually. This will be on my toes next! Formula was good but a tad sheer. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Dammit Janet I Love You is a nude base with bubblegum pink micro flakies. Such a pretty nude. Not sure that this one fits my skin tone but I really don't care. It's just that gorgeous. This polish is pretty opaque in just 1 coat but I would use 2 just to even it out. My swatches show 2 coats.

Late Night Double Feature Picture Show is a one coat deep red crème. I am obsessed with this color. Deep vampy reds are my favorite. I actually had a tiny bit of unevenness on the first coat so I used 2. It's most likely because of how thin I polish. If you polish thicker you should be good with the one coat. LNDFPS also stamps! Like really freaking well. I will recommend that you polish slowly and carefully. This polish will stain your cuticles. I had absolutely no nail staining but watch your skin!! 2 coats for my swatches.

Hot Patootie Bless My Soul is a black base with metallic red micro flakies and silver holographic micro glitter. Holy mother of pearl is this one amazing! The fact that it's a black base blew my mind. When I first got these I told Lexi that I loved her reds! No idea it was a black base. This is another one that could work with 1 thicker coat. Formula was smooth as hell for a crap ton of micro flakies! I used 2 coats for my swatches. Look at the flash shot 😍

Let's Do The Time Warp Again is a holographic rainbow glitter topper with various size and shape glitter. This one had me staring at my nails. So blingy. I do the Time Warp dance with my daughters on Just Dance! It's a fun quirky type song that will definitely make you move. This is a glitter bomb so a peel off base coat is a good idea. I used 2 thin coats then I sponged on a third coat for my swatches. I also put it over LNDFPS!
