LevelUP Lacquer ~ February '17 Multiplayer box

                                                                   *Provided for review/press sample

Good morning!! Today I have for you the Multiplayer Box for February. I do not have a post for January. With Ash just quitting her job to do full time polish stuff, it has been hectic I'm sure. I have the polishes if you want to see but keep in mind they will not be available for purchase!! Let's start with a quick refresher. The Multiplayer Box is a monthly subscription box that has polish and extras. There are 2 LevelUP Lacquers, 1 Zoya polish, and any random things Ashley decides to add. I have seen finger puppets to stamping plates! It's always random. The best part of this box? The price!! The box is worth about $35, but you only pay $20. Even better, the shipping is included in that price!! So, ready to see what's in this box? I thought so :)

Let's start with the Zoya. Her name is Binx and she is such a beauty. It is an orchid jelly base with a very strong gold shimmer and small iridescent glitters. I really didn't think I would like this one. (Iridescent glitters are my least favorite glitters) Once it was out of the bottle and on my nails, I really started to like it. The formula is jelly perfection! The shimmer is my favorite part. It really stands out. Even the glitters were really pretty. Gave it a little something extra, not that it needed it. I used 3 thin coats with top coat for my swatch.

The first LUL we have is Me + You. It's a gorgeous purple cream polish with ultra fine black holo glitter. I knew I would like this one. Purple is my favorite polish color.  This one is very simple but a must have. It would be the perfect base for some art with added sparkle. I used 2 coats with top coat. Just like my last post, I had to warm this one up a bit so please don't mind my crazy looking skin!

Last polish is an iridescent and pastel glitter topper. So very perfect for this time of year. I wanted to showcase Sweet Things over more than just one color so you get 5!! I like doing this because it gives you an idea what it looks like over more than just white or black. I will list the names of the colors in the macros. I think I like it most over blue and black. I used 1 coat over each color. I didn't need to fish for glitter or do any placement. Such a great glitter packed formula.

Sweet Things over SinfulColors Snow Me White

Sweet Things over INM Bananigans

Sweet Things over SinfulColors Sugar Rush

Sweet Things over INM Granite

Sweet Things over SinfulColors Black On Black

Make sure you grab this Multiplayer Box because it is only available for the month of February!! I will leave Ash's links below! Make sure you check out her Valentine's day trio as well! I also have more to come so I will see you soon :) Have a great day!! <3

LevelUP Lacquer ~ Valentine's Day Trio

                                                                      *Provided for review

Who is excited for Valentine's day?? My husband and I have no plans this year. Our 5 year anniversary is at the end of March so we are saving up for that instead. Even with no plans, I have really been feeling V-day nails!! Today, I bring you a trio of polishes inspired by "The Princess Bride".

This is one of my husbands favorite movies :) Today is also his birthday so this is very fitting. Let's jump right in with The Man In Black. It is such an elegant polish. It's a black creme polish with gold micro flakies and a gorgeous green shimmer. Such a refreshing way to wear black. I used 2 smooth coats with top coat.

The second polish in this trio is Truu Wuuv. This one is a berry color polish with gold and fuchsia micro flakies. Super pretty <3 I used 2 wonderful coats and top coat. I also want to apologize real quick for the crazy color of my hands! I had to warm up the picture to get it true to color. I'll add a pic to show what it started as!!

How different is that lol?? I usually don't do anything but crop my pics but this was a little ridiculous...

OK! Lastly, we have Princess Buttercup. This one is my favorite!! It is a holo polish with holo micro flakies. The color is amazing. It's a red with a touch of brown. When I say a touch, I mean like a drop. It's so gorgeous!! My swatch is 2 coats of perfection with top coat!!

This trio is available now in Ash's store! It even has my husbands approval. That means the polishes match the movie lol. I really really enjoyed the simplicity of each polish. They each had something, but mostly it was a subtle something. These types of polishes are highly underrated! Will you be grabbing this trio? Let me know in the comments!! As always, links to Ash's shop and social media down below!!

Bitzy Nail Color

                                                                                  *Nothing to disclose

Good morning! It's Monday and I bring you a very mood accurate post today. A little bit of brightness, but mostly junk. My husband and I stopped at Sally's yesterday because I needed some Yellow Stopper and I had a 20% off coupon. Naturally, I started looking at everything there. It was a good thing I did because I FINALLY found a cotton ball grabber!! So, I grabbed a few things then head towards the counter to check out. My husband pointed out some mini polishes and said, "hey look, these are only $1.50". They were mostly pretty boring. I did manage to grab 2 that looked indie-ish and decided I needed them. Because polish lol :) So we pay and go home. I get right to work putting swatches in my swatch book. I decided to stay up past my bed time to get these babies swatched. Ya, let's see how that went...

Dilly Dally/Sweetie Pie

I have never heard of Bitzy before so I went in with an open mind. Dilly Dally is the first polish I decided to swatch. Mostly because it is super neon. First coat was a little streaky. That wasn't an issue for me since a lot of neons have picky formulas. It also dried matte. Again, totally common with neons. Second coat was much better. Still not satisfied. Third coat. Not too shabby! It looked good enough but I could not leave it matte. It was so chunky. Didn't level much at all as far as glitter goes. I ended up using 3 coats of top coat just to get it smooth. I really love the color of this one but it is NOT worth it. Here is 3 coats of Dilly Dally with 3 coats of top coat...

Macro

The next one is called Sweetie Pie. This one is a peachy yellow crelly polish with neon hex glitters in pink, orange, green, and yellow. It is so pretty in the bottle. Very springy! Let's get right to the point. Don't ever get this polish! The glitter was in clumps and the formula was sooooo streaky. I used 3 coats but could have used a 4th to even coverage. If I had used a 4th coat, 1) I would be mad and 2) I would have mounds of glitter. No bueno. Seriously, I know you may want to try it because its cheap and pretty... DON'T!! This polish also needed 3 coats of top coat to be kind of smooth. Ugh, just awful :(

Since I did enjoy Dilly Dally enough, I did some nail art using the original Clear Nail Vinyls from Polished Vino, and some gems my mom got me. Chrissy has an awesome shop, awesome designs, awesome products, and amazing customer service! Make sure you check the links below to see what she has <3

I hope I have saved you from making this small polish mistake. I wouldn't even feel right giving these away. I really do love the nail art I did though with the Clear Nail Vinyls. Have you tried this brand? Maybe a creme formula would be better? Let me know in the comments! Have a mostly happy Monday :)

January Adore Box

                                                     *Press sample/Provided for review

Hey guys!!! So, I don't know if you have noticed but I have been trying to branch out a little bit. I want to offer more than nail polish alone; although that will still be most of what I post. At 32, I have finally found a love for makeup and beauty products. I was so stoked when I saw that Adore Box was looking for brand ambassadors! It is the PERFECT opportunity to test out little bits of product to see what I really like and what works best! All while being able to review and share the products with you! Let's get into this months box :)

How it works: With a monthly beauty & lifestyle box subscription, you will receive a box of 4-10 carefully hand selected items. These items may include: Makeup, Hair Care, Skin Care, Jewelry, Edibles (We are talking chocolate here...), Accessories, and/or Housewares. These items may be sample, full size or a combination of both.

We ship all boxes ship by the 25th!

ACCEPTING CUSTOMERS FROM THE UNITED STATES ONLY!

That was straight from their site. How awesome does that sound?!?! They are super customizable as well. There are 3 box options: 2 times monthly ($25.00-$264.00); monthly ($15.00-$144.00); or quarterly [(every 3 months) $39.99-$235.00]. Once you choose how often you want it, you choose your shirt size (Small-3XL). In case they send any type of clothing, it helps to have that set already instead of having to get info all the time. The last step is deciding how to pay. You can pay month to month, 3 month prepay, 6 month prepay, and 12 month prepay. This determines the final cost of the box.Sounds like a lot but the site has it set up so a child could do it. It's just that simple! Now that we got all covered, let's see what I got in my January Adore Box!

I want to start with the eye shadow. It is from Mary-Kate and Ashley. No... not those ones lol. I thought the same thing but they are just a cosmetics company. Anyways, this is a metallic shadow stick. The color I got is a very icy looking light purple. It does not have a name or number but it is awesome!! I used this on my lids a few days ago and I had no creasing in my lid at all after 5 hours. And it stayed just as frosty looking. The formula was nice. It glided on so smoothly! Great product that will get tons of use from me.

Next, we have a hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works. It work fast and smells so citrusy. My family has been buying these for a while. I feel like it leaves your hands more moisturized than the usual sanitizer. AND THE SMELL :) Love it!

The featured item in this months box is a Stila Cosmetics full size lip liner. I really loved the color I got. It matches my style perfectly. Again though, this didn't have a name. Just a number. This was my first ever time trying anything from Stila and I can definitely say they now have a new customer. It is a pencil but it goes on easy and smooth. I am a coffee addict and the liner lasted for most of the day without any issues and no need to reapply. Good stuff right here.

After trying all this stuff, along with my own makeup, I had to wash it all off. First I used the makeup remover wipe from Body Prescriptions. It removed mostly everything with ease. If you don't know already, I deal with a skin picking disorder so my make up is always FULL coverage. I was wearing a water proof eyeliner that proved a little tough to get but after the wipe took off the rest of my makeup I was happy. It even had a nice smell and wasn't soaking wet. Definitely a must have for your purse!

Next step in my process was to wash my face and get any left over dirt or makeup. I used my sample of md formulations. It is a facial cleaner that cleanses and exfoliates. I have very sensitive skin on my face from always picking so this stung a tiny bit. Not enough to not use it though. It washed my face well and left a smooth clean feeling behind. It didnt leave me tight feeling but I still added a moisturizer. Overall, it was really good stuff!

I totally saved the best for last! My hair is so straight, fine, and soft that I really dont use much at all for it. I mean, it practically brushes itself lol. But seriously, it's that low maintainance. Unfortunately, my 10 year old did not get so lucky. Her hair is awful! It is very thick, very course, and has a natural wave in it that looks like she always just unbraided her hair. Within 5 minutes of brushing her hair, she already has snarls. And what 10 year old wants to deal with that?? She hates it. We try everything on her hair but because she is 10 it is really limited by chemicals and whatnot. When I saw the Peter Coppola High Gloss Finishing Polish I was skeptical. I figured that because of the natural ingredients it would at least be safe to try. I immediately fell in love. It says it has a flexible hold but it is mostly an oil shine spray. I used less than 10 squirts throughout her hair and it changed everything. It made it softer and smoother instantly. It was easier to brush and not nearly as frizzy. It is now the holy grail product for my daughters hair!! I cannot recommend this product enough! First 2 pics are without the spray and the second 2 pics are with it.

Make sure you check Adore Box out! The box I am subscribed to is the $15 a month box and I got my moneys worth 2 fold at least!! Not to mention the chance to try things I have never heard of before. I am super thankful to have come across they hair spray. The eye shadow is about tied for 1st for me :) Next month features Laura Mercier so please stay tuned to see what comes in the February box!! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Zoya ~ Rue

                                                                          *Nothing to disclose

How are we doing this afternoon? I am sitting here with the biggest smile on my face. We just had our Christmas this past weekend because the girls were in Florida on actual Christmas. The girls got some great stuff and so did I! Of course my husband bought me some amazing polish. I also got a polish from my mom. I will show you that and one of the glitters today.

The polish my mom gave me is Zoya Rue. It is a pink under toned neutral shade. Its the perfect nude for me. This was the polish that I never knew I always needed. It's wonderful. I used 2 thin smooth coats with top coat.

I added one of my new glitters to Rue. Unfortunately it was a generic square bottle with only a name, no brand. The name is Kiss & Makeup. I can tell you it came from Five Below but thats about it. I had no idea how much I was going to like this glitter. I thought it was just hex shaped glitters until I swatched it in my swatch book. IT HAS LIP GLITTERS!! I was soooo freaking excited! Valentine's Day is coming up and this is just perfect <3 Besides the red lip glitters it also has lavender metallic, white matte, and micro red and silver holo glitters. Such a cute mix. I used one coat over Zoya Rue with a little placement for the lips. I sealed it again with top coat. I recommend a second coat of top coat to smooth the glitters. Also a peel off base coat for easy removal!

Do you love it or do you LOVE IT?!?! I will have the links down below! Be sure to let me know in the comments what you think. Have a good rest of your day! :)

Temporal Flux is a part of the Intergalactic Flakies Collection. They all share the same UCC flakies. Or Ultra Chrome Chameleon flakies. For this specific polish, the base is an off white creme with a holo sparkle. This polish will forever hold a spot in my top 5 polishes EVER!! For my swatch I used 2 thin perfect coats with top coat.

I tried to add some stamping but it was not as opaque as I had hoped. It ended up being too much. Oh well, here is my fail!
