Influenster #FrostyVoxBox

Who absolutely loves to try out new things? Free things? How about give opinions? Yes? I thought so!! That's what Influenster is! I received everything in this box complimentary from Influenster to try, and give my honest opinion. Check out what came in this #frostyvoxbox and see what I think!
                                                      WARNING: Picture heavy!!
I am super happy to have gotten some thyme! Who doesn't need a little extra thyme lol! Too tacky? I used this to season my chicken for dinner. All I did was melt some butter with the thyme in it and poured that over my chicken then baked it! Its such a wonderful and homestyle type spice. I always use thyme in my cooking so this was right up my alley!!

It is a very rare occasion for me to wear make up. I have pretty bad anxiety and I also have a skin picking disorder. My husband got free movie tickets so we planned a date night and with my face I needed to use makeup!! Luckily for me I have pretty awesome eyes and eyelashes! I wore all water proof makeup because I knew I was going to cry (Hobbit 3). After the movie and before bed I used this with a cotton round. I held it on my (closed lol) eye for about 5 seconds then swiped. Took about 3 good swipes but my eyes were totally make up free! I will definitely be keeping this around and possibly wearing more makeup :)

Ah, the Fruit Vines. I only had enough time to get 2 pics of this bag before it was opened then emptied. They were delicious!! These were not waxy like some fruit snacks can be. The best part was the real cherry flavor. It wasn't that fake, sweet, lollipop like cherry. We have already bought more and most likely will again!

If you happen to need a brush I suggest this one right here. It works awesome with my fine straight hair and even better with my daughters thick curly/wavy hair!! The handle is smooth and the brush head flexes! Such a great design.

TEA!!! I LOVE TEA! My favorite tea ever is actually peppermint tea so this was perfect for me! it really should say For: Jenn, right on the package. I expected this to taste the same as peppermint tea but I was wrong. I'm not sure how to explain it but it really tasted like a candy cane. It had a slight sweetness about it. and because I don't read, I was double happy when I found out it had 2 tea bags!! YAY!!

This. I said before I hardly wear make up. I really don't have a face routine at all. I should probably get on that because I am not getting younger. Either way, I passed this sample to my mother in law to test out. she said it was very nice on her sensitive skin. No real long term effects as this was just a small sample.

This was the eyeliner I used for date night with my husband. After crying at the movie the makeup didn't smudge :) It glided on smoothly and evenly. I will definitely be checking this out in other colors. And its such a great value!!

Also something I wore on my date night. I love lip stuff of any kind. I prefer chapsticks and balms with no color because im plain like that lol.  That's why I really liked this. It was moisturizing like a balm but light enough so it was still "me".  Definitely a great base if you have a favorite shiny or shimmer gloss to layer over the top. And again, This is a very good priced product!

And this is just because KITTIES!!!!! This is my kitten Ash. He LOVES boxes. He was in this one before it was even emptied :)

Drip Drop Nail Paint ~ Prototype #809

Hi friends! Here is the other Drip Drop Nail Paint I told you about! Prototype number 809. This DDNP is pretty much the same as the purple one. It was a touch streaky but I find that with almost all light greens and yellows. It evens itself out by the third coat very nicely. This polish is a pastel green cremelly leaning slightly to the yellow side. As with the purple DDNP, this one also has a very slight holo dust that was very hard to capture. I stamped with this swatch as well but sadly it smudged a little. I'm still learning :) I used Winstonia plate w112 with Sally Hansen polish in Blue Me Away.  I definitely recommend Jessica's polishes. They were delivered extremely fast and the quality is great! Make sure to go support small business!

Drip Drop Nail Paint ~ Prototype #808

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope everyones holiday was wonderful! My family and I had a great Christmas :) Now I am back and have a pile of swatches and other reviews to post! Lets check out this first beauty from Drip Drop Nail Paint. I bought a few prototype bags a while ago for me and for some nail mail ladies!! I kept more than I planned on, which was only 3, but I had to have them. This one is number 808. I think out of the 3 I have this is my favorite. It is a pastel purple with very slight holo dust scattered throughout. This formula isn't exactly a total crème but has a touch of jellyness to it. I believe I have seen it called a cremelly. I may be crazy but either way I like it :) Because the holo is so fine I had the hardest time capturing it. I did, however, make up for it with stamping!! I received some new plates and wanted to play lol. These swatches are all 3 thin smooth coats with top coat. I used Winstonia stamping plate w101 using China Glaze Seas The Day.

I love this combo!! Stay tuned for the other DDNP I have for you :)

Crabtree & Evelyn ~ Black Tulip

Hello again my lovely friends! I am just on a roll! This time I have a new brand to me, Crabtree & Evelyn! I had no idea they even made nail polish. My husband works at Foxwoods Resort & Casino and while we were shopping there the other day we saw these by the register in the Yankee Candle store!! Great gifts by the way ;) In the rack there were about 10 colors but none seemed unique. I did find 2 though that I liked enough to try. I really am so glad I did too. The one I chose was this one. Its called Black Tulip. In the bright lights of the store it looked like a brownish, plum sheer base packed with fuchsia flakies. It looked familiar but it totally called my name. When I finally got home I realized that it is just a sheer brown base! All the plumy color came from the glow of the flakies! They are just so bold in this polish!  Then, it got better!! The flakies shifted color to gold then green! Multi chrome flakies are super hot right now on the indie scene and I found one at my husbands work lol! It is amazing and I totally recommend this brand of polish! All of my pics are 3 thin coats with top coat. 2 coats would have worked but I am just picky like that lol. I added some glitter placement and star studs because GLITTER AND STARS!

Best Silver Holos Ever!!!

Hi friends!! 2 nights in a row! Weird right? Well, today has been a good day and last night I had time to do some swatches for this post I have had in my head for a while. Seems holographic polish and/or glitter is THE thing to have for any kind of manicure! Since my husband works and I stay home, I don’t have tons of money for indies. But, it just so happens that the silver holo polishes/glitters I do have are some of the best and/or most sought after! Wow, lots of slashes lol!! On with the post! First up, bottle shots:

PAINTED POLISH "DRUNK ON HOLO"
This polish is the olny one of the four made of square micro glitters! It is also the only one with a flat wide brush. These things really stood out. The only thing I can say about this polish is that it took a little extra to fully coat the nail. This was 3 thick coats with topcoat. There are other ways to get better glitter coverage but for this post I wanted to highlight the polish for itself. It was very smooth for so much glitter. Laid totally flat and only needed one thin coat of topcoat to smooth it over.
FANTASY MAKERS LOOSE GLITTER "GLITZ"
This one was a little different. I put base coat on the nail then sprinkled the glitter over my nail. I didnt press down or anything. I just let it do its thing! After about a minute I used a fan brush to brush all the excess glitter off. Another 3-5 minutes later I did the same thing over again. No pressing and no topcoat! I love the texture it left. Im sure I could have smoothed it with topcoat. I just didnt want to lol. This is a hex micro loose glitter.

ORLY "MIRRORBALL"
this one has been flying off of store shelves everywhere its sold. This polish is a silver linear holo polish with mini silver holo hexes. What a super stunner!! I have already used this to make Christmas ornaments and a bunch of manis. I need a backup. Then I need a backup of the backup. Not for me but for a lucky someone else!! So lets all take a moment of silence and pray I can find more!!!!! This can be worn over any color to make it holo or on its own in 3 thin coats. I have it here alone (3 coats) with topcoat.

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL "PRINCESS"
Last but most certainly not least is this beauty right here!! Princess is super close to Drunk On Holo. I used 3 coats for this with top coat. It is made up of hex micro glitters. This laid nice and flat and had total coverage in 3 thin coats. It also smoothed out with just 1 thin coat of top coat!

So, which is your favorite? I dont think I could decide! I am just happy I have them all :)

MTL Creations ~ Northern Blizzard

Hey there! How is the holiday shopping going? Hopefully, mine will be finished on Sunday!! Anywho! This post will be short and sweet as I am only reviewing this one polish right now. It is Northern Blizzard from My True Love Creations! This is a clear base polish with tiny holo hexes, medium black hexes, blue stars, and white diamonds. The formula of this glitter topper was wonderful! Its just what I expect now from Cherise lol. I have not had any reason to think otherwise :) For my swatch I used 3 thin coats of Blue Crelly from Jolie Polish. I then topped it with one coat of Northern Blizzard and a little bit of glitter placement. Heavier glitters sink... thats just the way it is! I know that alot of ladies just tip the bottle over for a few minutes to get the glitter to the top. For me, it gets to glitter full. Know what I mean? I didnt want layers upon layers of glitter. That just looks messy, not cute! So here it is!! More from Cherise's winter collection soon :)

Holiday themed animal print!

Hello! Are you in the holiday spirit yet? I am super pumped for Christmas :) Because of that I have been doing lots of manis with red and green! This one was super cute and fun! Not to mention super holo!! I have videos on my IG page that show how strong the holo really is! Just wanted to show you a few pics so no more words.... Enjoy :)
