Wildflower Lacquer ~ Jan. '19 PPU

Hello! How was your Christmas? I hope everyone got what they wanted! My family and I all made out great! My girls are sitting here as I type using one or more of the things they got. I love this time of year 🎄🎅 Polish Pickup is coming soon so I hope you're ready! As usual there will be tons of wonderful things! Let's have a look at Wildflower Lacquer's contribution to the theme Mythology.
Serpentine Queen "is a dark maroon jelly base with a subtle blue to green shift with green/blue/gold crystal flakies, and UCC flakies that shift from copper to green, and red to gold." This polish is inspired by Medusa! I love a good jelly polish. This one is nice, even, and smooth. I am not 100% happy with my pics. I feel that no matter what I did I just could not capture the amazing depth this polish has to offer. It's definitely one of those "need to see in person" type polishes. Absolutely packed with color changing flakies and the shimmer 😍 I am always such a sucker for a good shimmer lol. I used 3 coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatch. Serpentine Queen will be $12.50 USD.

You can really see all of the detail when it is matte. This deep vampy shade is perfect for this time of year! Make sure you don't miss the shopping window. Sassy Cats Lacquer ~ Jan. '18 PPU

Hi! Less than 10 days until 2019 😳 I hope all of your holiday shopping is done. Or at the very least, close! I am 1 present short at the moment. Fingers crossed! Hopefully I will be getting some gift cards so I can buy some PPU pretties this January! There are gonna be some good ones. Sassy Cats Lacquer is bringing you a fantastic magnetic polish, inspired by Poseidon, for Januarys theme of Mythology. Let's have a look 😊
God Of The Sea! is a slate blue base with a bright blue magnetic shift, pink and yellow chroma illusion flakes, copper to green UCC flakies, and gold shimmer. At some angles the blue magnetic shift turns purple. And just look at the label!! So freaking adorable! This polish was a tad thick. Not at all unmanageable though. It is totally opaque in 2 coats. Especially when the second coat is thicker so the magnetic effect works best. Of course, my OCD got the best of me and I used 2 thin coats then a thick 3rd coat. I will link a blog post below with amazing tips for using magnetic polishes. So 2 thin coats and a 3rd thick coat plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches. God Of The Sea! will be $13 USD. Along with the PPU polish, Sassy Cats is also offering a top coat for IPU. It's the sister group for all things non polish in the months categories. Sweet Sirens top coat is glossy and dries pretty quick! It also dries with a fresh picked strawberry scent ❤ I feel like if I could add a scent to my life it would be strawberry. I love it so so very much 🍓 Let's check it out over a red crème and some art! Sweet Sirens top coat will be $7 USD. There will be a cap of 40 bottles.
I couldn't help myself with the strawberry art! I did this free hand and I am super proud lol! The top coat did great at sealing in my art without smudging it. Definitely worth the price! Wildflower Lacquer ~ Save The Elephants Duo

Hey y'all! Back again with some gorgeous creations from Wildflower Lacquer 😃 Taylor has created a Save The Elephants Duo in honor of her grandfather. "This duo is in memory of my grandpa who lost his battle with depression in 2005. January 10th marks 14 years. He was very passionate about donating money to preserve wildlife especially elephants." This first pic is of him on an elephant in Thailand, and the second is him with Taylor as a child (with an elephant t-shirt) ❤

Wisdom & Serenity "is a blackened teal with linear holo with UCC flakies that shift from copper/gold/green, scattered silver holo glitter, and holo flakes." Holy mother this is gorgeous 😍 As far as teals go, this one leans a little greener. The fact that it's a blackened teal really gives it so much depth. The formula is so very smooth and even. I still haven't decided but I think this one is my favorite. I used 3 thin coats with glossy and matte top coats for my swatches. I left the art super simple because I just wanted to showcase the polish! Wisdom & Serenity will be $10 USD.

We all know I love anything pink. This one has the same flawless formula as Wisdom & Serenity. 3 thin coats with glossy and matte top coats for my swatches. I love the art I did on this one! All Good Things Are Wild & Free will be $10 USD.

Wildflower Lacquer ~ January Birth Flower

Hi everyone! I have some news to share with you from Taylor from Wildflower Lacquer! Starting on December 30th, there will be a Birth Flower polish of the month! I'm so excited to start sharing these with you! Let's get started with the January birth flower: carnations ❤
Carnations In Bloom is "a blue base with linear holo, purple shimmer, UCC flakies that shift from purple, green, blue, and scattered silver flakies." There are going to be some special birth flower polishes for me and this is one of them! My husbands birthday is January 30th ❤ No one in my entire life has been there for me the way he has. He is my rock and this makes me think of him every time I see it. Taylor's formula is great! Like my ideal polish formula. Very smooth and even. I just love this one so much! I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatch. This polish will be $8.50 USD until the end of January. On February 1st the price will raise to $10 USD.
